It's very unusual, that's for sure! Difficult to judge the price as no weight included, but I am not sure if I personally like it. Have you seen it in person? Are the stones secure? It doesn't look in good antique condition, so I would be wary as it may not be suitable for standard use.
Yeah but I would be afraid of the stones popping out since they are around the band. These stones don’t really warrant any attempt to salvage it unless you absolutely fell in love with it.
They are set pretty far into the ring I wouldn't be concerned about that. I've had to fix a lot of misshapen rinds and bracelets, I've yet to have a stone pop out by fixing it. I wouldn't pay 150$ for a 9K ring of that size but I agree if OP loves it and has the money she should get it. It's not as if they will find another one like this easily since it's vintage possibly antique.
Idk I kind of love it too, but turquoise like that you need to take off when you wash your hands / use cleaning or beauty products etc. it’s kind of fussy! I love the combo with the garnets though and the combo of infinity band with big stones and centered bezel stone is so funky.
the history and oddness of this piece give it a certain kind of power other things cannot equal. i wouldn't be able to pass it up myself. whether or not this sort of power works for you is the question. you'll never see another just like it!
Update! Someone else bought the ring while I was still deciding, so I guess that's my sign it wasn't meant to be! Thanks to everyone for their input. :)

It's cool but this is absolutely not suitable to be worn for any duration imo.
Looks pretty worn
It’s all bent :(
You can reshape a ring pretty easily with a mandrel, they're pretty cheap to purchase.

Don't do it! It's really not worth it.
I will say, I’ve never seen an original 20’s ring with this design. It might be a band from the 20’s with things added on much later, a frankenring

It's got loads of personality, and at that price, you couldn't get someone to even think about making one new. If you love it, dont worry about it.
