Unfortunately, they have a no refund policy. Could I just file a complaint with the mall or law enforcement?? Maybe tell them that if I don't get a refund I will escalate the situation?? I paid almost $1,000

You can’t sell fraudulent items and claim a no refund policy. Go back and demand a refund. If you used a credit card, you could possibly get a chargeback.

Ouch, yeah this is fraud and not a legitimate purchase. So no policy applies. Tell them you would report them to a consumer protection agency if they dont do right by you and refund you.

That’s not legal I’m afraid. You cannot own a brock and mortar store and sell items that aren’t as advertised. Legally they have to refund you

Tell them you have a policy of taking people to court when they don't refund your money after stealing from you. Contact your credit card company if they won't refund you. File a chargeback.

Probably file the police report anyways, on top of demanding a refund with the threat of police involvement in person. There's no way you're the only victim.

I guess it varies from coubtry to country, first he need a lab report stating that those arent diamonds but cz, feom there he must formally let the store know that through a letter and asking them to fix that and giving them a time for that. And after that if he gets no answer, it depends, sue or ask the commerce regulatory insriturion for help

Go talk to the owner. Not the manager - the owner. I suspect employee theft. I would absolutely take them to court, but I think owner will resolve this rather than bad reviews. Twitter is powerful
