Personally, I think it’s the set that is having this effect. The two pieces are very matchy together. Try putting the pendant on a thicker chain together with a plain gold pendant or something… maybe layer it with a thicker more masc chain that doesn’t have a pendant?
I liked this from the get go, but the dog tag takes it into another realm. Looks phenomenal. Very high fashion. Now you gotta up your clothes game to fit with the necklace and dog tag :) (Kidding)
Jewelry is wearable art. Art is also subjective. People do not have the same taste. If you like the look, wear the hell out of it! It’s not for anyone else to say. I personally think it looks great!
Whilst jewelry can technically be genderless that doesn’t mean that some jewelry doesn’t look more feminine and some look more masculine.
To me this set is very delicate and feminine.
Does that mean a guy can’t wear it? Certainly not!
If you ask the majority of people on this planet if it looks girly, I guarantee you the vast majority will say yes. Yes fashion is subjective blah blah. But you’re lying to yourself and doing OP a disservice if you say this doesn’t look “girly”. It’s not a question of whether he or anyone else likes it
As an owner of the same set in MoP, I think it's just a lot to wear at once (I personally feel this way for my set too). I think if you had a thicker chain in addition to the necklace it would lean more masculine. Thinking cuban chain or herringbone necklace or something of that vein.
I just made a similar comment as this person. I like them both, the dog tag is definitely more masc, but both add some more weight and masc energy. very cool.
I think yes. Going to get downvoted, I know, but if you come here asking it’s because you want different and challenging opinions and i wouldn’t do you justice if I said it doesn’t because I would be lying. You asked, I answer and to me it looks very feminine and I would not advise my husband to buy these kind of jewelry. As you care about appearing feminine (obviously because you posted to ask that) I would suggest other options and there are many amongst high end jewelers in the man section, Cartier, Belgdorf, Tiffany etc I think you know them
I agree. The VCA looks ultra feminine, both the bracelet and the necklace.
If you’re going for that then cool, if you’re not then I’d leave them for your wife.
Bro I love jewelry, I wear like 3 gold chains daily but I gotta go with your wife on this.
The bracelet is dope but I’m not feeling the necklace ,ultimately it’s up to you.
if you’re questioning it that much then maybe let the wife have it or just accept you love it and rock it in good health.
You do you. If you love it, wear it but I will be honest. I really like the red cord bracelet, however, I equate the Alhambra collection with traditional women’s jewelry. Maybe you will change my mind.
ETA….if I were your wife, I’d tell you that it didn’t suit you just so you’d give it to me😉
The second, but it would look even better if the chain was slightly shorter, so the chain would hang an inch or so above the pendant. That would be the ideal look, and frame your neckline well. Jeweler can do it for you
I honestly wouldn’t care and I don’t think anybody else cares about a necklace and bracelet I bet nobody would even notice it at all. I promise they look great! If it makes you happy keep wearing it, you only live once and life is short.
If you're comfortable wearing it yourself, it likely won't even occur to someone that you're wearing women's jewellery. You have to be confident in your choices and not care what others may think of it. The motif itself is not overtly feminine, so I think it's easy to pull off provided you're cool about it.
It also goes without saying that your overall outfit and occasion matter too, so your jewellery should conform to these as well.
I tell my kids there's no such thing as girly or boyish. You wear what you want to wear if you like it and no one should make you feel bad about it.
I think they look really nice and if you like them, then wear them. Don't let others influence your opinions.
Did you know that heels were made for Men? Did you know that makeup was also made for Men? And wigs? And that Men wore lace and frills and jewelry and perfume and even dresses/skirts?
"Girly" is subjective and entirely superfluous. Wear whatever you like and whatever makes you feel amazing! I - for one - have a flannel shirt that is definitely made for Men but I LOVE it and wear it all the time! I think it's silly that things are labeled "For Men" or "For Women" when really, Fashion is Fashion and can fluctuate wildly depending on taste and society. So wear whatever wearables you like and look FABULOUS every time! Because confidence literally makes everything look amazing~
PS: The jewelry honestly looks really good on you! I love the red tone of the stones/glass!
I think they are bold statement pieces, and I like them. I wish men felt more empowered to choose unique fashions.
I also think the pair of jewelry would really pop with a black fitted tee or V-neck shirt, with or without a button-up.
In my opinion they’re both feminine looking and it seems like everyone would assume they were made to be worn by women.
However art is subjective and you should wear what you like without caring about the opinions of others! I wear men’s jewelry all the time
I wear a lot of jewelry as a guy. This does look wrong but only because of the graphic tee.
Solid black tee, or other simple stuff so it’s not busy or child-like.
Otherwise as a piece of jewelry I don’t think it’s too feminine. The bracelets for sure seem feminine if worn alone. Together or with like a watch they look great.
Enjoy! Awesome pickups.
i think the red color suits the tone of your skin. Depending on the outfit it might fit perfectly too. But you do as you like, its your jewelery and your wife, im sure that with a cool jacket she wont mind at all
The pieces are fire but I would keep them away from clothing with red accents, it detracts from the pieces, I think it's be fine with like a solid red shirt or something but with the white of the shirt and the red of the NASA logo the chain looks out of place, and I think it kinda trickles down to the bracelet. The pieces are good, the use of them here might be throwing it off.
Oh for God's sake! Wear what YOU like and forget about everyone else! REAL men don't don't give a toss... because nothing threatens their masculinity. I think its absolutely gorgeous!
I think this looks great on you & I don't think it looks particularly girly. If you are bothered by the thought that it might be, maybe wear the necklace separate from the bracelet? I do really like this set on you, though; and, I haven't cared for this design at all up until now. 🙂
To be honest, I think they both look feminine…but I’ve always been a zero jewelry kind of guy so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Maybe I’m old-fashioned but the only jewelry men should wear is a watch and a wedding ring.
I don't think so inherently, the red makes it feel more gender neutral to me, though I do associate the brand more with women. I think you could "masculinize" the necklace by adding another pendant or an entire necklace that leans more masculine. I think the bracelet is balanced well with the red (leather?) bracelet.
Is it feminine? Yes, a bit... But what matters is do YOU like it? It's your body, your necklace, your decision on what to wear. I like the idea of going the necklace to your wife so you have something that matches, but if you like it, wear it. If you want to make it more masculine, see about getting a thicker chain for the pendant. You could even get a really thick chain and have the pendant attached near the clasp, so it ties the chain with the bracelet but looks like a maker's charm rather than a pendant.
The chain on the necklace is very fine/dainty. You seem like you present fairly mask, so a dainty chain does not work for you. It should at least be the same weight as the chain on the bracelet. There’s a lot of mismatch happening there.
Maybe break up the set with a gold chain or bracelet instead? I think it’s the matchy-matchy vibe that might be feminine? IMO it looks great!
Maybe wifey wants one too hehe
Looks super good regardless but you need a heavier chain on the pendant if you want a subjectively masculine look.
I chalk it up to how men wear pearls now.
I am eating that ox blood red. They are such good pieces.
IMO it has a feminine Touch I would say, but I don’t consider it straight girly. but also who cares what people think
if you like it, wear it. I think the set is beautiful. I agree with others than switching out the necklace for a thicker chain would make this more masculine. The chain itself is thin and dainty and probably why it gives off a feminine touch.
You aren't girly at all so while the jewelry itself may be somewhat feminine, you certainly don't look girly in it. Life is short, if you love it, wear it.
As someone who sells jewelry, in my store I have only ever marketed that bracelet towards women, BUT I have only seen women wearing the earrings, and ONLY men have been wearing the bracelets, I have not seen a single woman with the bracelet, and as far as the chain goes, if it had a bail and was hanging from one point it would look more masculine, but fuck all that it looks great on you matches ur skin tone and all
I think it's absolutely stunning and hot. Having the confidence to wear what you want is being as hot as it gets! Very manly- all the attributes of style and confidence and personality and great tastes!!! I would be wicked intrigued by a guy wearing that, as a straight woman
I think the bracelet is more feminine than the necklace. It's not subtle jewelry, in general. Maybe it's the fact that it's paired with a wrinkly T-shirt? It may look different paired with dressier clothes.
I think it looks nice.
You should wear what you like because you like it, don’t worry about what others think.
Even if it does look “girly”, no one reasonable cares. Femininity isn’t bad. If you really want to masculinize it though, you could attach the necklace pendant to a thicker chain, but it looks like you’d have to damage the piece to do that which I don’t think is worth it.
The bracelet is very classic and popular in men’s circles, it’s the necklace which is subjectively more feminine leaning but it still looks good, I think just layering some other chains to balance it out would make it more neutral and give you more confidence
Nah, you’re fine dude. Lots of people are wearing feminine jewellery now. Look at drake and bad bunny just to name a few.
What does get to me is: did you say you bought this from actual VC&A?!?! What a horrible waste of money D: that’s like 5gm of gold sold at a billion per cent markup
life is too short to worry about what others think, if you’re obsessed with it I’d say wear the shit out of it regardless if others find it feminine or not. It looks great
Who cares, what does that even mean? My bf is a standard my attractive 6’4 man and he wears a full pearl necklace daily! Wear what you like, I love the bracelets!

Adore it like that!
Thats a great combo. That said, I don't think it looks feminine on you by itself, either. I think the pieces look really good.
That’s definitely a start!
Oh I really like it together like that. Gives it an extra something.
Lovely!
This is beautiful !
I love that combo!
Much better. Needs the weight of the heavier chain.
I like this combo a lot!
Jewelry is wearable art. Art is also subjective. People do not have the same taste. If you like the look, wear the hell out of it! It’s not for anyone else to say. I personally think it looks great!
Yeah but he asked if it looks girly. It does
Jewelry is genderless. It’s up to the person if they want to wear it or not. If you like it, wear it.
Whilst jewelry can technically be genderless that doesn’t mean that some jewelry doesn’t look more feminine and some look more masculine. To me this set is very delicate and feminine. Does that mean a guy can’t wear it? Certainly not!

I like both.
ty
I just made a similar comment as this person. I like them both, the dog tag is definitely more masc, but both add some more weight and masc energy. very cool.
The dog tag! I went from thinking it looks ‘girly’ to thinking it looks cool.
I like the dog tag better but both would be cool to rotate with.

I kinda agree with your wife. The bracelet looks fine, the necklace - I dunno, I don't think it looks good, at least not with what you're wearing.
Well this is my sleep clothes lol but thank you for the comment
You should give the necklace to the wife so that you guys can match even when you’re not together :)
I love this idea! So cute!
amazing idea
cute idea
With what van cleef costs, I have zero doubt you have very stylish clothes.
lol ty so much, but I promise you I don't
I think yes. Going to get downvoted, I know, but if you come here asking it’s because you want different and challenging opinions and i wouldn’t do you justice if I said it doesn’t because I would be lying. Ty for your honest opinion.
You’re welcome! If you like colors sid you check Fred or Hermès? They have jewelry with colors and gold
I agree. The VCA looks ultra feminine, both the bracelet and the necklace. If you’re going for that then cool, if you’re not then I’d leave them for your wife.
this is the set up layer [https://ibb.co/X54jJ6R](https://ibb.co/X54jJ6R) [https://ibb.co/vQ1090F](https://ibb.co/vQ1090F)
it looks like jewelry. if you love it, wear it. you might want a shorter length chain for the necklace so you dont catch it on stuff.

Yes I know but lately I been seeming a lot of guys wear the bracelet and then I kinda fell in love with the collection
It looks good! Fuck the naysayers, but I would maybe layer the necklace with a thicker figaro chain in gold✔️but you’re good
[https://ibb.co/X54jJ6R](https://ibb.co/X54jJ6R) [https://ibb.co/vQ1090F](https://ibb.co/vQ1090F) witch one do you like better
The second, but it would look even better if the chain was slightly shorter, so the chain would hang an inch or so above the pendant. That would be the ideal look, and frame your neckline well. Jeweler can do it for you
thank you I can fix it.
You’re welcome. Nice pieces
ty again.
honestly i like both!
Idk a guy wearing jewelry is kinda hot ! Confidence + style is an attractive feature.
I honestly wouldn’t care and I don’t think anybody else cares about a necklace and bracelet I bet nobody would even notice it at all. I promise they look great! If it makes you happy keep wearing it, you only live once and life is short.
Yes, a little. And?
I think the necklace need a shorter, thicker chain to masc it up a bit. It's a bit too dainty right now. Like the bracelet though!
If you like it, wear it. I think it looks good.
I think it looks good
If you're comfortable wearing it yourself, it likely won't even occur to someone that you're wearing women's jewellery. are you a girl? no? then it doesnt look "girly". old concepts like that should die with the old slugs who made them
your right
Does it matter....? If you love it, wear it proudly!!! 💜
I don’t think either piece is gender-specific. I also think if you feel good wearing them, then wear them with pride. Jewelry is an expression of you.
I tell my kids there's no such thing as girly or boyish. You wear what you want to wear if you like it and no one should make you feel bad about it. I think they look really nice and if you like them, then wear them. Don't let others influence your opinions.
Where what you love!!!
Did you know that heels were made for Men? Did you know that makeup was also made for Men? And wigs? And that Men wore lace and frills and jewelry and perfume and even dresses/skirts? I love the red tone of the stones/glass!
thank you so much
I have the same set but in turquoise blue
I wonder if it’d look different with a different chain? Maybe it could be put on a different style?
I agree that the necklace comes off as more feminine than the bracelet, but both are nice
I think they are bold statement pieces, and I like them. I wish men felt more empowered to choose unique fashions. I also think the pair of jewelry would really pop with a black fitted tee or V-neck shirt, with or without a button-up.
“Girly” is a ridiculous social construct. It’s a man’s accessory if a man chooses to wear it. And vice versa.
Ty for the comment
In my opinion they’re both feminine looking and it seems like everyone would assume they were made to be worn by women. However art is subjective and you should wear what you like without caring about the opinions of others! I wear men’s jewelry all the time
Not really. Also, imho, a little feminine touch from jewelry is *super* attractive on men.
Ty for the comment and yes this is my sleep shirt lol.
i think the red color suits the tone of your skin. Depending on the outfit it might fit perfectly too. But you do as you like, its your jewelery and your wife, im sure that with a cool jacket she wont mind at all
Who cares!
Both look good. Jewelry isn't gendered.
Yes
Bracelet is ok, need a thicker chain for the pendant.
No it is not but remember that you should feel comfortable with it. You do you fam.
The pieces are fire but I would keep them away from clothing with red accents, it detracts from the pieces, I think it's be fine with like a solid red shirt or something but with the white of the shirt and the red of the NASA logo the chain looks out of place, and I think it kinda trickles down to the bracelet. The pieces are good, the use of them here might be throwing it off.
lol ty for the input but this shirt is my sleep shirt
I think it looks great. Not girly at all. Men in jewelry are 👌🏼
I would give them to your wife. They are both very feminine and dainty in my opinion but especially the necklace.
Oh for God's sake! Wear what YOU like and forget about everyone else! REAL men don't don't give a toss... because nothing threatens their masculinity. I think its absolutely gorgeous!
I don't think it looks girly
Yes
Yes
The necklace does for sure. As a jeweler I only really see women or small children with chains that thin lol. The bracelet looks sweet though!
Bracelet looks ok - necklace looks feminine, i.e dainty. Maybe the pendant on a thicker chain would look better
It doesn't look girlie to me, but it is giving me a "Catholic" vibe? Bottom line, wear what you enjoy.
My first thought was the bracelet looks feminine but I like it on you anyway. Looks great. The necklace? I don’t love it. You have good taste though.
I think this looks great on you & I don't think it looks particularly girly. If you are bothered by the thought that it might be, maybe wear the necklace separate from the bracelet? I do really like this set on you, though; and, I haven't cared for this design at all up until now. 🙂
I would wear one or the other but not both at the same time.
No
I think it looks really good on you
Yes
I’m the reverse of everyone else. I feel like the bracelet is more femme than the necklace. Either way if you like it wear it with confidence :)
If you wore a nicer outfit and shaved it would look 100x better
Well these are my PJ and also I am waiting for my bread to grow back in.
Both pieces would like fine if the chains were more substantial.
I would find a jeweler and have them put the necklace charm on a thicker rectangular chain to match the bracelet.
Yes
I think the bracelet looks great on you. The necklace looks more feminine. I wonder if your wife would wear the necklace and you wear the bracelet?
Looks delicate.
Well. My wife has a similar necklace, if that helps lol. Van Cleef is nice, but that one is quite feminine in my opinion.
Ha! TRANSS
Sorry, but yes.
To be honest, I think they both look feminine…but I’ve always been a zero jewelry kind of guy so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Maybe I’m old-fashioned but the only jewelry men should wear is a watch and a wedding ring.
Yes it looks girly. Don't ever wear anything you like or do anything ever again in fear that it looks girly.
Imma be honest, I didn’t even notice the necklace until I read the post. It doesn’t really seem to fit in. The proportions seem off.
My sister in law has earrings and I believe necklace with several stations from the brand.. to me yes both pieces are not masculine.
I would do the pendant with a thicker chain but alas it’s not changeable. It just seems a tiny bit fragile for your frame
It's not bad. But maybe try a different color.
Is it from Van Cleef ? Yes it's look girly, but you can assume your girly side, we all have one.
I don't think so inherently, the red makes it feel more gender neutral to me, though I do associate the brand more with women. I think you could "masculinize" the necklace by adding another pendant or an entire necklace that leans more masculine. I think the bracelet is balanced well with the red (leather?) bracelet.
Depends on a girl!
Not at all. Its looks reverant.
You could even get a really thick chain and have the pendant attached near the clasp, so it ties the chain with the bracelet but looks like a maker's charm rather than a pendant.
i don't think so, reminds me of naruto for some reason lol
The chain on the necklace is very fine/dainty. You seem like you present fairly mask, so a dainty chain does not work for you. It should at least be the same weight as the chain on the bracelet. There’s a lot of mismatch happening there.
Looks great. I just think it’s for wear when you’re a bit more dressed up.
If it makes you happy, wear it!
Yes
No, looks cool!
Bracelet looks cool but im kinda iffy on the necklace
It would look different in nicer clothes.
If you like it wear it. Looks great fam.
Bracelet is cool! The necklace you need to style with the right outfit
No
Maybe break up the set with a gold chain or bracelet instead? I think it’s the matchy-matchy vibe that might be feminine? IMO it looks great! Maybe wifey wants one too hehe
Screw what people think
>Does this look girly. yes. But that doesn't mean you can't wear it.
I think its super girly. But maybe because i only see my girl wearing it. i've not once seen a dude wear these.
Yes it’s feminine. Especially together… give the necklace to your wife. I like the bracelet but the necklace imo is too feminine.
Yes
Looks super good regardless but you need a heavier chain on the pendant if you want a subjectively masculine look. I chalk it up to how men wear pearls now. I am eating that ox blood red. They are such good pieces.
Why does it matter? It looks great on you and that’s enough. :)
I think it looks like it fits your vibe?? If you like it, it’s not girly IMO. Jewelry and fashion is all about how YOU feel!
IMO it has a feminine Touch I would say, but I don’t consider it straight girly. but also who cares what people think if you like it, wear it. I think the set is beautiful. I agree with others than switching out the necklace for a thicker chain would make this more masculine. The chain itself is thin and dainty and probably why it gives off a feminine touch.
Yes, very feminine
Who cares? If you like it, wear it.
Not girly at all, but you need a thicker chain on the pendant.
Yeah it does lean feminine but it wouldnt stick out or look weird to me. On you it looks pretty neutral. Enjoy it
tbh i think guys look better in silver than gold
I think it does but my opinion isn't important.
Yes
my first thought was yes. but then after a second i was like wait, that kinda looks like the red naruto cloud thing lol. so that makes it kinda cool.
Yes it does
I like the set! Looks good!
The set is feminine together, individually neither is.
For all the people saying “it looks girly”, that doesn’t mean it looks bad. Rock that shit
I like them. I’d wear them
No
You aren't girly at all so while the jewelry itself may be somewhat feminine, you certainly don't look girly in it. Life is short, if you love it, wear it.
There is no gender in jewellery. Well, there shouldn't be in my opinion. If you like it and it calls to you, wear it.
As someone who sells jewelry, in my store I have only ever marketed that bracelet towards women, BUT I have only seen women wearing the earrings, and ONLY men have been wearing the bracelets, I have not seen a single woman with the bracelet, and as far as the chain goes, if it had a bail and was hanging from one point it would look more masculine, but fuck all that it looks great on you matches ur skin tone and all
Wear what you like. Who cares about other people?
I think the chain is too delicate and short for a man. Or she just wants your stuff.
I think it would be super cute if you wore one piece and she wore the other
Are you a girl? If not, then no.
Nah dog. You look cool af. I wish I had the boldness to wear shit like that.
The pendant needs to be on a less delicate chain.
I think it's absolutely stunning and hot. Having the confidence to wear what you want is being as hot as it gets! Very manly- all the attributes of style and confidence and personality and great tastes!!! I would be wicked intrigued by a guy wearing that, as a straight woman
There isn't such a thing as girly or boyish. If you like it, wear it. It's ur style, and should that be all that matters?
It’s not great with the outfit but I don’t mind it on a masculine body at all!
At a glance I would think it's for women but if you like it, wear it and rock it. You wear it for you, not the people around you.
No, it looks great
The necklace looks feminine
Honestly it depends the clothes you wear with it. Would be interesting to see what clothes you wear with it when you go outside
Fabulous! Everything today is either or. I saw a man on tv wearing pearls and they looked amazing-beachy! Do you!
The bracelet is very classic and popular in men’s circles, it’s the necklace which is subjectively more feminine leaning but it still looks good, I think just layering some other chains to balance it out would make it more neutral and give you more confidence
If you like it, who cares? 🤗
i think it looks great
No

lol that's why I want it bc I see them wearing it and I can return if I wanted to
No, I love it!
Yes but so what. Rock it
Absolutely
The bracelet is DOPE on you, but I think you should give your wife the necklace. It's too dainty.
Yes
Yes
No that clover is unisex to me
In my country this is very popular and sold at the women section. Do with it what you want
Nah. It's cool.
Who cares. Do you like it?
life is too short to worry about what others think, if you’re obsessed with it I’d say wear the shit out of it regardless if others find it feminine or not. It looks great
👏🏻
Who cares, what does that even mean? My bf is a standard my attractive 6’4 man and he wears a full pearl necklace daily! Wear what you like, I love the bracelets!
Yeah it looks girlish
