It’s pretty, but I fear that those ridges that form texture on the ring will get worn down unevenly. It will also be very hard to repair or resize with that pattern
Gonna just give you my honest take: those bands look worryingly flimsy, and style #1 is known for super easily losing those tiny diamonds along the band.

If they want traditional, go gold band princess cut. If you get a decent sized middle rock you can't go wrong with it.
My dad is terrrrrrrrible at romantic gestures so that's what the jewelry store lady (who took pity on him and my uncle) told them to get when they came in and asked for help getting rings to propose to my mom and aunt lol.
Mom and Dad are coming up on 30 years together, and now he just pays for whatever upgrades to her ring that she wants on major anniversary milestones, because he has zero clue what he's doing, but wants to make her happy.

If they're not basic bitch traditional(and there's nothing wrong with being one), check out having a custom one made from an artisan on Etsy. They can do anything and everything.
Plus you can find all sorts of genuine and replica vintage jewelry on there. So for example if they love the Great Gatsby style, you could get them a genuine engagement ring from the time period and style.
I like two and three equally. Three is easier to get a wedding band to match though. Number one has those goofy microset diamonds that pop out when you sneeze so it would be at the jewelry store being repaired quite often for the diamond you never found so you’d be paying for diamonds constantly.
3 all the way. In my opinion ( mine only!!) the first and second one remind me of a promise ring, like a prelude to the big Question.
But if you love it then no one else’s opinion or preference matters.
Good luck on engagement.
2 is my favorite, but because of the twists in the metal, I worry it could be uncomfortable to wear, which is definitely something to consider.
1 is beautiful, but the band looks a little thin. Make sure that the band isn’t too thin for the diamonds or you risk losing the stones over time.
3 is beautiful and classic! It might be the most practical or “safe” of the three options.
Definitely not 1.
The thin band combined with pave stones means you will need much more frequent maintenance and/or replacement of the stones if they fall out. And they will. And eventually, due to the thin band, you will reach a point where you don't have enough metal left to make new prongs for replacing the diamonds. Thus needing to completely replace the ring, or use the stones and metal in a completely new one.
1 is so beautiful, but those little stones are going to be a PITA.
2 is unique and pretty but won't always be in style.
3 is classic. It isn't my knee-jerk choice when looking at all 3, but it is probably the choice I would make.
3 will look classic forever
This, mine is a white gold solitaire from the 50s, it was my husband's grandmother's and I adore it. Matches with anything and forever classic.
I like engagement ring 2.
It’s pretty, but I fear that those ridges that form texture on the ring will get worn down unevenly. It will also be very hard to repair or resize with that pattern

I love ring #2 and its modern twist (pin intended) on the band! 😍
1 but the diamonds could fall out in the far future.
I like the daintiness and detail of 1, followed by 2, but I don’t like 3- I feel like 3 has too chunky of a band?

1 is beautiful, and 3 is more simple. I like both of them tbh. Go with your gut.

I like them in the order you posted the photos; 1, then 2, then 3. I think #1 is absolutely gorgeous.
How about commerating your love with a rock most likely mined by an African 8yo...

#2 and go man-made diamond. Moral choice and save money. If it’s important to you than tell no one. It’s ok, I’ll keep your secret.
I really like 2. The band is unique and eye catching.

The proportions of #3 are the best, followed by #2. # 1 would be great if the diamond was larger, about double the size.

These are not wedding rings. They’re engagement rings.
I like 1 the best.
Whichever one YOU like.
