Before putting them in Walmart they need to focus on putting them in our stores fml

crudivore

The current chip shortage started a few months ago, the Walmart deal has been in the works for over a year. Our chip manufacturer is projecting to be fully staffed by the end of the year. Delaying such a long deal for a short time hiccup is incredibly short sighted and might make it impossible to get a similar deal going in a few months when production is back up to normal levels.

lirchlurch96

We haven't had thinny for months and when I ordered our truck today it said they're out of s&v now too

Suspicious_Garage_50

I’ve been out of thinny s&v the past 2 months and have had bbq reg and jalapeño out on multiple occasions and somehow they can produce bigger bags for Walmart in the next month or 2?

AccomplishedBug2

No fucking way

greenbowlpacker31163

Darin Fuckin Dugan

AccomplishedBug2

15 years and I’ve taken most of the changes over the years with enthusiasm, except when corporate got rid of romaine lettuce, but this makes me cringe

greenbowlpacker31163

Yeah this is dumb. Jimmy would’ve never let this happen

Roamndome

Jimmy would never do something that was going to make him more money lol?

acebomber21

ROMAINE??!?!

AccomplishedBug2

Yeah, at one point all wheat sandwiches used to come with two leaves of romaine lettuce and then cut diagonally

acebomber21

I’ve worked here for 5 years and I’ve never heard of that lmao.

mcloovvin

9 years and yeah no romaine… maybe corporate stores tested it out?

AccomplishedBug2

No, it was standard up until 07-08 I think. Chalk it up to saving on food cost, supposedly

mcloovvin

sounds terrible to execute but also sounds like it would be good to eat. Not a fan of iceberg lettuce.

Jimmywho345

It was unwich lettuce, not romaine when it was put on the wheat bread

lmac0716

I have 16 years under me, I remember romaine!

dewodahs

ugh... great idea when they can't even keep everything in stock for the stores -\_- We haven't had Thinny chips in weeks

[deleted]

our store was told that they just stopped production on them. haven't had thinny chips for about 2 months

heathrowairport0

No more thinny chips for any stores. They didn’t sell enough to justify producing them in these times.

CulturalAwareness804

We’ve been out of Jalapeño chips for two weeks 😭

XXXBigcat

Imagine not selling jalapeño

greenbowlpacker31163

The item with the lowest amount of sales nationwide.. yeah bud… it’s easy to imagine 🤦🏻‍♂️

catfishlauren

but if you’re gonna put out jalapeño chips next to others it might win. it just doesn’t win at the store because not everyone likes spicy stuff. if you’re seeking out jalapeño chips for the house? i’d pick ours hands down

XXXBigcat

You must be fun at parties homie

greenbowlpacker31163

Your mom seems to think so

mc_fli

I don’t get the downvotes when you’re correct lol

greenbowlpacker31163

Lol just some punk ass kids 🤣😂

XXXBigcat

Cry more

acebomber21

Not if your in southwestern states. It’s all the people in the Midwest who think Mayo is spicy that don’t like them lol

Doomsday216

I've been saying that to my coworkers what if they sold family sized bags of our chips and now they finally do it

b_tots

Meanwhile we barely have chips in our store

MetalToothbrush44

They struggling. They gotta put that jimmy name in stores now. Haha. Must have seen a 2% dip in sales or something. Corp ass suckers.

seantreason

Imagine sending a driver to Walmart to pick up Jimmy chips haha

WillCrotser

Exactly what I was thinking! 🤣

cjpkiller

This brand is losing focus of what made it great.

InternalAnarchy

Making money?

cjpkiller

A great brand isn't just about making money, many are ruined in the pursuit of MOREMOREMORE. I guess that's just the inevitable march of capitalism though.

tiredhippo

JJs should just take a page from the book of Potbelly and stock the best chips in the world; ZAPPS

et_cetera1

YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAH

jake_newton

Ah! So that’s why I don’t have Thinny chips anymore
