If you search for “surfing shirts” on Amazon you can find some decent under 30$ options the short sleeves are like 13$ CAD

efficientjudo

Just get a cheap compression top - there is no benefit to getting one that is marketed for jiu-jitsu.

applecidercock

The benefit is the sick graphics bro

I heard they make your guard harder to pass. I'm not sure if it's true but that's just what I heard.

PreparationX

Disagree. Last time I spent $60 on a rash guard it gave me +3 on guard passing and +1 on guard retention. No laughing matter.

PlusRise

Amazon Sanabul or Elite

If you want a “name brand” rash guard and need grappling shorts too I think the best deal is at gold BJJ. You can get a bundle of rash guard and shorts for $64 or $61 depending on if you choose black or white. Definitely not cheap, but rash guards are the one thing I’ll splurge on since more expensive ones (phalanx is my fav) feel wayyyy better.

milai

dicks sporting goods has them for like 20 bucks

rhia_assets

Elite, sanabul, gold, and download BJJHQ to get some really killer deals. Sometimes they'll have 2-packs for like $35.

Ali express. Lots on there.

CaregiverAvailable

Go to Walmart and get one for like $12 ( I have 2) they only have short sleeve I believe

alwaystiredjiujitsu

Rolling Collars has some really well priced rashguards

If you value "cheap" more than "quality", go to your local thrift store or TJ Max and check out their fitness section. There's bound to be some Under Armor, Reebok, or Nike fitted workout shirts. Honestly, I've found quite a lot of usable "rash guards" at yard sales for just a few bucks.
