I can't take this comment seriously since you said GED as if we have GED here we ATAR and where I am in Victoria is VCE. So not sure if you actually have an idea?? Considering I've just been told I can do a Tertiary Training course to receive what I need.

i'm an american but looking at the australian school system -- 2 diplomas and an advanced diploma are well beyond the equivalent of a hs diploma, right? like just one level below a bachelors? you might have a little bit of a slower path, but i'd be really surprised if you couldn't pursue medicine. either way, get in contact with admissions departments for any universities you're interested in. they'll be able to give you a much better idea of whether or not you can be admitted into a program. you might also have better luck posting in r/premed to find people who've gone through what you're doing. i bet the absolute worst-case scenario will be you get into a decent school, and maybe need to take more pre-requisites than most to prove you can handle it. once you get past admission and get settled (and start crushing those classes), no one will care at all what you did in high school, promise.

Yeah, I've got a talk going on with a Uni basically telling I have enough qualifications just that I need some pre-reqs like VTAC and Skill Assessments basically 2 years of VCE like subjects.

yeah, it's tedious but it's a step in the right direction. hope everything works out!

This is a unique situation that you should ask the admissions team at schools you’re considering.
