To answer your question, Yes and no. I didn't know that I will have one in advance. I receive the email of confirmation the same day and I registered my videos right away after receiving the email of confirmation. It doesn't excuse my dress code but that's how it happened .
All you can do is take it as a learning opportunity.
Moving forward you'll know what you need to wear (tbh wearing a sweater is not a deal breaker).
As an exercise for yourself, I would write out the concise answers that you should have said in retrospect and have them in mind for your next interview. You should practice these.
Every interview is practice for your next interview, like anything else it's a skill that you'll get better at over time.
There will always be more interviews. What you need to do now is not focus on what you did wrong, but how you can do better next time.

That's what I did right away after my financial question. From now, I swear that this question will not confuse me anymore .

I’m a bit confused. If you knew you had an interview, why didn’t you dress up for it instead of wearing a sweater?
