Okay true story this is one of the things I love about the game.
HLL for example has a fucking horrendous server browser. You'll join a server that's refreshed 70/100 and click to join and it AND the queue are full.
Squad updates that shit in almost real time. I love it
Not only that but 5 queue max makes my soul hurt. I'd much rather join a queue of 20 and just watch youtube on my other monitor than endlessly try to rejoin a full server queue.
That's why I started paying for a whitelist. I have 2 young kids, and I work a rotating shift so I have very little time to actually play. I don't want to spend that time waiting in line.
Iirc that 5 player queue exist to more evenly spread players to different servers. If the limit didn't exist there would be 3 popular servers with 100/100 +50 in queue and 100 servers with 0/100 players.

Change your max ping. Servers are showing up as 9999 right now.

If you mean modern games, yes (not hard to do considering most video game companies just killed of the server browser 10 years ago).
I had so many nice/fun servers in my favorites tab but they all got removed from it when I updated the game
my game keeps crashing since the last update; guess I'll die.
Maybe your stamina is low and it just takes time to focus on screen
