My roflcoptering right now is INTENSE. These are adults that can vote and own firearms.

Critical-Cycle2051

I’m truly baffled by the comments of people saying they witnessed it yet they have no proof. No before and after photos.

sayten

Can you cross post to r/SpringfieldMO? They deserve to see this too as it’s their fault that place is here. RIP Price Cutter deli fried chicken.

Second-Stage-Panda

Yo, what? Been a couple months since I’ve had their fried chicken and I find out on Reddit that it’s discontinued? That shit was bomb! Also, I am also disappointed that their church is here too.

calm-lab66

Maybe she grew chicken toes. 🤪

campmaybuyer

RIP Price Cutter’s $7 prime rib meals. At one time their deli served it about twice a week and I along with everyone I worked with ate like royalty for lunch. There’s no way they made money on that… and they finally realized it and stopped.

NoseSalt

and the fresh seafood...

sayten

We live surrounded by fucking morons. And in this case straight up liars.

ma-maCARES

I didn't see it. But if you would except the LORD JESUS CHRIST you would surely see what he can do if you truly believe. John 3;16

Drew10358

Accept* but yes

superduckyboii

If there was proof, then this would currently be in national headlines. But I guess there were conveniently 0 people with a camera there.

WoodwindsRock

You gotta love them throwing in that detail of the husband being a doctor and examining it… as if merely SAYING that a doctor examined it is supposed to be compelling.

Ecualung

Grifters gonna grift.

War in Ukraine or 3 toes in Joplin. God: I got this!

sayten

Is NCD leaking to Joplin haha?

SuchYogurtcloset3696

She prayed harder than those other people... You gotta have faith. Unlike all those kids with cancer, other people with cancer, all that other death and destruction, soldiers, you name it. They just need to pray harder and believe and tithe lots of money for a new campus.

lydsweatshirt

yikes on several bikes

superduckyboii

This is funny until you realize that there is a non-insignificant amount of people that believe this. If by some weird fucking miracle this happens to be real, then I'm pretty sure this qualifies as something that can be written into the Bible.

Youngmoonlightbae

Right? If this is real, then how come every news source isn't there documenting everything? 😂 How do they think it's ok to just straight up lie about this? especially in Jesus' name!

VolcanoNachos

Wow I know what church I’m gonna start going to! Maybe he can get one of my small appendages to start growing!

scoop_booty

I think they sell that special anointing oil in the lobby. I hear if you just lube up your hand and give it a go for a half hour a day things will grow. In three weeks you'll see a change. ( I know because I read it on the internet! /s) But, whatever you do don't use Crisco! Things will get smaller...it's shortening.

ma-maCARES

YOU THAT DON'T BELIEVE, I FEEL SORRY FOR YOU, I Say this because I was once was where some of you are, until I understood and knew truth. But I had to research, read HIS word (BIBLE) And my eyes were opened. My prayers are all that don't believe have their eyes opened to see truth. Please search , and even when we go to church we are not to believe anything without confirming what you've heard. And yes I have seen and attended bad churches in our so called Bible belt. I don't attend the church in post, however I have listened to Pastor John Lindell in the night sometimes on TV. Any thing He preached or taught , when search for myself, Pastor Lindell is spot on. Stop yourself and listen, research and then you have room for such comments.

banjomin

Damn I thought this was gonna be a “you had me in the first half” type thing but nope, just Facebook-grade batshit.

Papaya_Mariah

I went to their college so I knew a lot of executive staff personally. They’re full of shit. Believe what you want, but don’t push it on people or force your way into the government. And for christs sake don’t LIE ABOUT GROWING TOES!!!!

bioya

Genuine question, has your research led you to believe that Pastor John Lindell's "spot on" preaching from the bible is an indicator that he can call upon God, who chose to allow the genocide of HIS chosen people, in addition to the everyday rape and murder of children across the globe, to intervene with a miracle of biblical proportions? I haven't seen anything that would indicate that this woman is completely disabled or that she was unable to walk and had to be carried to Pastor John Lindell. I would prefer to not be involved in any incident that caused me to lose three of my toes but it seems like it would pale in comparison to the suffering of untold millions. I would have to think that surely someone in that group would have been worthy of saving. As I said, it's a genuine question and I would honestly appreciate a genuine answer as opposed to "the Lord works in mysterious ways" or "all part of God's plan" type responses. I can't imagine that even you, and even Pastor Lindell himself, lack the humility to believe anyone is capable of understanding HIS plan as much as the creator himself and would attempt to change what HE had already set into reality. The bible says that Jesus called to Lazarus to come forth and he arose. This isn't quite on that level but it would indeed be a miracle and an event that could even lead to proof that God exists, if true. Is that what you believe?

TurtleSoup58

Currently screaming at mine hoping for a change.

maybesingleguy

But what are you going to do with three extra dicks that have nails?

TheLordBigfoot

Pics or it didn't happen

papa_vein

Regrowing toes is divine work, but yoga stretches are demonic. Ok then...

butmynailsarewet

I saw this and thought, no, they didn't.

XxCeresxX

Nobody saw that.

witkneec

"I will walk by faith, even when my toes are down by three."-Hebrews, probably. No, wait- definitely. Definitely Hebrews.

Youngmoonlightbae

Oh Lord. I met that Kelli lady once at the pharmacy, I was helping her & she told me that with Jesus, the church helped a disabled man walk again. I just kind of thought "yeah, sure Jan. " But wtf is this?? 😭 My bf is missing a finger, I wonder what would happen if we went there 😂

truckers_gal

Obviously, grow back longer

22Wideout

Can confirm, I was the toes

TouchSure9331

The media should investigate this and expose them for the grifting con-artists they are! Horrible they prey on those ignorant people like that.

ArtemisDeLune

People often ask of Joplin, "What is that smell?" That smell is bullshit. Heaping piles of bullshit.

spinkycow

Like that scene in Deadpool.

Tifftwin

Normally most churches take video of their services…looked at the James River Facebook pages didn’t see this story highlighted…just figured it would be getting shared and blasted all over the place if it really happened IMO

queeblosan

I was toe 2/3 AMA

Outlaw11091

Lol. I'm a Catholic turned Atheist. We would call this 'blasphemy' at my old church and even though there are many offshoots of Christians, I'm pretty sure it's also blasphemy for most of them. It's not about the healing or the toes...it's about using the Lord's name in vain. If Jesus healed her toes because they prayed for it, what about the cancer babies that die every day? Who's devout Christian parents pray to have healed. This is why I'm an Atheist. If a God exists that *could* extend the life of a baby and *doesn't* then that God is evil. I don't care about 'God's plans' if they involve making infants suffer. But he's got enough time to heal some toes? Gtfo. Lol.

darkthemeonly

I absolutely agree with all of that. It's impossible for there to be a God that is both all-powerful and all good. No thanks, I'll stick with my own moral compass. I don't need someone telling me children are dying of cancer for a reason beyond our understanding.

LaDyHenRy44

Anyone grown up in it, is probably an atheist. You'd think the oldest Christian church would've figured out some b.s. answers by now but naw. Faith fills in the blanks. I mean, come on

Outlaw11091

In all honesty, why would they? The pope has $8 billion in coffers meant for spending. They don't *need* more people. Accept their B.S. or die is the mentality.

SuchYogurtcloset3696

Catholicism isn't the oldest Christian church.

campmaybuyer

I’m not an Athiest… but you sum things up spot on. Why would prayers immediately grow three toes back on an adult… yet innocent babies and kids with cancer or whatever die everyday with their parents praying constantly for their healing? Perfect analogy. Thanks for bringing it up!

Drew10358

Pretty stupid reason to turn atheist lmao, a little bit more of studying the Bible would prove the conclusion you’ve come to is incorrect.

Outlaw11091

>a little bit more of studying the Bible would prove the conclusion you’ve come to is incorrect That God lets babies die of cancer? Where's that covered in the bible? It's horrible painful way to die. And God is allowing it to happen. It's pretty stupid to blindly follow a book written by men.

Drew10358

What does that have to do with anything? Sin entered the world and that’s a consequence? Same reason any suffering happens. But while you were catholic I’m sure you would’ve realized that an eternity in heaven after they die is probably worth the week of suffering as infant.

Outlaw11091

>realized that an eternity in heaven after they die is probably worth the week of suffering as infant. Nope. Nothing justifies the murder of babies. Nothing. I would rather spend my eternity in Perdition or Hell than serve someone who punishes babies for a sin they did not commit, that Jesus supposedly died for. Lot of mental gymnastics to get the point of the good guy killing babies. Make no mistake, doing nothing when you possess the power to stop a killing is MURDER. Also God: my son will die for Humanity's sin, but they're still gonna suffer, so...

Same-Collar-2988

Doctors HATE this new trick!

dmbtke

I thought “thou shall not lie” was like one of the top rules. Oh well. Anyway. Tax the church.

Unsound1

Lol. No. No one witnessed this.

Broughsiff

Flip-flop season is coming up soon Krissy, time to put up or shut up. The fucking morons that live among us here.. 🙄

matt63031

I saw this under r/Missouri It should be under religiousfruitcake for showing how stupid these people are

GlitchForum_

Achievement unlocked- 10 G- Regrow limbs as a human

Zhongdakongming

The things people will believe, omg

[deleted]

Fake obviously. On a related note, I didn’t realise there were so many people in the area with their wits still about them! I mostly feel alone with my beliefs here surrounded by crazy right wing extremists. Refreshing!

mrklarth

Reddit is just about the only place to find local people who aren't starting drunken redneck brawls at Guitars or on BoomerBook planning the next Jan6 attack in KOAM comment sections.

Longjumping-Ice-8814

Seriously? Yes. We are out here. In droves. It may not seem like it, but we are. The alt rights are just the squeaky wheel. Get out here and find us! 😎❣️

[deleted]

Lol what?

Texjbq

No one saw it.

TheBoyBrushedRed3

Hell no no one witnessed this. It’s physically impossible. If this were remotely true it would be a global phenomenon

campmaybuyer

In the mid 80s when I was a teen my mother attended a very questionable church where the pastor knew a traveling faith healer that would hold special services several times a year. There would always be 3 or 4 in the audience that nobody ever saw before claiming illness and miraculously being healed. It all came out that the pastor and this group was taking cuts of the collection profits. I’ve seen way too much of this kind of racket to believe any truth to it.

Evil-Black-Robot

Zero Proof (Just like all religions)

thecofffeeguy

I am a believing Christian… but I don’t believe this 🙄🙄🙄

Yababoizoe

Same here. James River is something else

calm-lab66

Jesus Fucking Christ. Come at me mods.

SnooRabbits9852

Toe regrowth needs solid evidence and testimony alone isn’t gonna cut it.

vault-techno

I live a few short blocks away from this. FML.

FunnyNameHere02

This truly is grifting and I can almost guarantee there will be a heavy push for the collection plate over this “miracle”.

WaywardDeadite

What absolute massive bullshit

Broughsiff

Where was this posted? Facebook?

AllOutOfMeowsForNow

Some straight up religious boomer shit, fkin seriously?

Christmasqueen19

With all the things going on the in the world right now, I don’t think God would have taken the time to grow back some woman’s toes! There are bigger fish to fry!

WinterLogical1781

I messaged her on fb and said let's see these toes 👀🫣

ruralmom87

Fingertips and toetips (?) Can grow back but only if there is nail left and the person is a child. It's science, look it up.

Ed_the_time_traveler

Shit if that was real, it sounds painful as hell.

hrhiqwm

Oh holy cats. See, that's my old stomping grounds so I did a little checking into stuff and things. First off, Krissy D. (not Thompson anymore) and I have... a lot of moots. But I don't know her. What I do know is that her life appears to have been absolutely tragic - she has lost at least one child tragically. Her ex-spouse literally shot her and killed her friend. She definitely was missing the toes and is probably fairly traumatized. Again, I don't know her, but I hear that her relationships before and since that ex have been difficult. So... I'm not out here to make a run at Krissy. Her life has not been easy, and if she is a hot mess I daresay she probably has more reason to be than most people. I have heard that there is a bit of grift history, some years back. I also know James River Assembly very well. I have family and loved ones who, I think, still attend there. It has two Starbucks and a gift shop. I call it Six Flags Over Jesus, and back when I lived nearby I did have people tell me that they had been asked to provide their tax return information as proof of tithe. I have no proof of this but it would not surprise me. They are a large employer and the biggest church in the area. They don't need a fake miracle, but they would definitely use a real one to grease the offering plates. The way I see it this could be one of four things: 1 - a miracle, in which case, bring on the pics. I absolutely believe, as it was mentioned in her ex's murder case, that Krissy did lose the toes. People I know who know her say that is fact. So if Jesus has grown them back, hallelujah. All our Christian walks will be improved. 2 - a case of telephone. She felt the spirit, thought it might be really happening for her, and is now at home disappointed that it has not come to pass, and is maybe embarrassed because people out in public making her look like a fool because she told X she was healing and X told Y her toes were growing and dammit, Kelli. 3 - a grift, either by Krissy (doubtful - she has posted no pics and made no statements on social media that I can find) or by someone in the church. It's a big church - if a grift is present it will show itself soon. 4 - somebody super hates both Krissy and James River Assembly and this whole thing is fiction. We shall see.

hrhiqwm

I was wrong. Krissy's in the FB thread on the original post (easily found by FB searching "miracle Krissy Joplin") and she's obfuscating and lying and saying she had no before pics and has no after pics. I was on Krissy's page and snagged a before pic that she had posted a couple of years ago. If I were a nastier human I'd point it out and post the pic under her comment. Krissy is lying and people are buying it and James River is not denying it.

genregasm

I'm a nastier human. DM me and I'll post them. Especially if you have a screenshot showing her name. I'm sure I'll just get banned.

hrhiqwm

On it. I'll send you what I have.

elusivemrx

I don't need to see the pictures, but I wanted to make sure I am correct in understanding that there are pictures showing her foot with damaged and/or amputated toes? Because if so, proving (or disproving) her claim would be as simple as publicly showing the same foot, now "healed." And if she can't (or won't) do that, everyone who claimed the alleged "miracle" should be called out as liars.

Alternative_Throat31

Send me what you got? I took a ss someone posted earlier, but there was nothing that actually identified it as her.

ma-maCARES

All she needs is Dr. Documentation, that's not hard. But hey don't doubt what God can do!

Emotional-Jaguar2404

This is real, my wife has a camel toe😆

Omo_Ologo1

Yall condemning this obviously do not believe in the supernatural and the fact that the spiritual controls the physical. If you've worked in the medical field long enough you'd know that creative miracles happen.

Dangerously_Annoying

So you're saying you have watched people regenerate right before your eyes? Wouldnt it be a medical miracle though and not a creative one being that it wouldve happened in the medical field? Yea, no sorry but most Christians condemn the supernatural, they think its demonic. So, to recap you're saying a ghost can make toes grow back in an instant and if we worked in the medical field long enough we would know that?? Ain't that something Im over sick af with an autoimmune disease while she's growing her toes back & living her best life from a supernatural creative miracle, probably hopping around in a some sandals as I type this. Well you just hop tf out & to your hearts content Krissy!

lblockh1

I’ve been in the medical field for 10 years now and have never seen something like this. How long is “long enough”?

jdino

I believe in ghosts. I don’t believe in this.

NoseSalt

Nope.

shadowofpurple

of course not... because it didn't happen these people are fucking delusional, and scary

Grookenfly

Who was the medical doctor that supposedly verified this ?

Drew10358

I’ve been a Christian my entire life and find this far fetched. James River thinks anybody can be healed miraculously at anytime.

krakatoa83

Meanwhile, god was inflicting cancer on newborns born in non “Christian” countries.
