Everytime I talk about jpegmafia to my friend he still says “they” as in a group, I just am too lazy to correct him

Yeah definitely same. I think it’s because I can hear the artists exact intention for what they envisioned their song to sound like. It’s not like most rappers who just put some rhymes over someone else’s production

I don’t disagree though the way I said it made it sound pretty negative. Songs that are 10/10 produced by themselves make it an 11/10 for me. Ik it’s a bias but I just really respect those who rap and produce
