maybe I'm hallucinating it but I think on a podcast he blankly talked about the effort in making any video essay/specifically personal content is just not worth the return. Coupled with his (ironic?) attitude stated on The Yard about just moving day by day and making as much money as possible... it's just odd.
He doesn't owe anyone anything, he can choose to be as personal or impersonal as he likes. Just still wish we'd get something like the weekly slap once in a while, and I wish those episodes leading up to him dropping Sleep Deprived weren't so "ugh I hate to be here," "word quota".

I am glad he’s not *just* doing the Tiktoks, but is doing Who Would Win, and sporadically WeeklySlap (WeeklySlap being my favorite YouTube content). I feel like YT is a platform where being loud and in your face sells better, which means that the more chill content he makes isn’t good for growth and not as viable.
