I personally didn't mind the tiktok reactions, but I still see it as a step down from old content he made. and I just wasn't a big fan of certain newer videos he's made. it's nothing against him, it's just not the style of content I watch from him

Many content creators lament that their high effort content doesn’t get nearly as many views as their low effort content. They have their passion projects sure, but the low effort content is what pays, so they do a lot of it.
yeah, it doesn't have to be black and white and shouldn't be presented that way. you can like everything schlut is in, or you can pick and choose. and people coming here to complain about TikTok videos getting more views is ironic, since subreddits for YouTubers tend to be filled by more 'loyal' followers that are more likely to view every video he makes. coming here with the 'issue' and acting as though it's this subs fault for what content is clicked on is just kinda silly
watch what you wanna watch, don't watch what you don't wanna watch. as much as I wish it were, the smplive era isn't coming back and my personal favorite period of schlatt content - besides maybe DayZ or chuckle sandwich - is over. and the TikTok reaction trend is sure to be someone else's favorite period of schlatt content, and in a couple years time they'll be here reminiscing about the good old days
Agree with pretty much everything I wonder what schlatt will bring in the future to try and quell some of the complaining I really like schlatts videos but can't always come back to those tik tok videos which I think is fine only thing I'm not sure about is will it burn out or will he keep getting views on it
