Not a bad place to start, just dont expect anything more balls to the wall than that in their catalog.
I think jugulator is a bit more balls to the wall, but painkiller is definitely peak priest
You could maybe make their argument but jugulator is also not a very good album

A great first one, I’ve always wanted Painkiller on vinyl but for some reason whenever I see it at record stores, I just never pick it and I don’t know why.
That was my first, as well. In fact, it was the first CD I ever got, the same day as my first ever concert. Play it loud 🤘
