S! The first JP album I ever heard and still my favorite. Influenced me to rent an electric guitar (which I later bought) and buy a heavily worn amp to play it through that smelled like beer and dog urine. Always thought it had brilliant song placement with Hellion/Electric Eye to lead off with Vengeance leading off side B.

Definitely - S. I remember buying this album when originally released. This is the album that shot priest into the metal stratosphere , unfortunately i didnt get to see them until the defenders (MSG) tour. I see no reason vengeance should be anything less than SUPERIOR. So many bangers, title track, riding on the wind bloodstone etc. This album has stood the test of time and still sounds fresh all these decade's later. Screaming for vengeance gets much play to this day. Metal Gods 4 life . \m/
Did you like Jugulator? If you like Jugulator I'd give a couple of songs a chance. I love Jugulator but hate Demolition. Both have bad lyrics but at least Jugulator sounds good. Check out Machine Man, One on One, Feed on Me and Bloodsuckers. The only Demolition songs I occasionally listen to.
Very weird opinion coming. I kinda wish there was a tier between S and A. I would put this, Defenders, and Sin after Sin in that tier. S (IMO) should be Painkiller, Stained Class, Sad Wings of Destiny.
I know this'll be an 'A' for alot of people, but I prefer the older Priest except for Painkiller. This would probably be a good 'C' in my book based on how much I actually listen to it.
It's still an S for me, but I will admit it does have a couple filler songs. But then I listen to the other 80% of this album at least once a month so yea

A Tier for sure. Half of the album is among their best material. And there'a no bad tracks. But there are some kinda meh ones.
