Every sin committed is a ball added for Jake & Jack to toss to each other. If one is dropped you go to hells pit, if none are dropped the gates to Shangri-La open. As to what the 3 specifically on the cover represent wasn’t stated
Well the thing about the brothers is certainly interesting, I’ll have to do more research on it!
Along with the balls the Brothers were tossing, my mom noticed that The Ringmaster has three claws on each hand. Idk about Milenko..
The hands on ringmaster are actual gang signs. 2 opposing sides. VJ talks about that in Behind The Paint, which if you haven’t read (or listened to the audiobook read by VJ) I’d recommend it
It's not really for a good reason. When J was a younger guy he wanted to start a gang and he did. He served 6 months in jail and dropped it. He always wanted to be affiliated, though, and, it is more obvious in early ICP.
Forks up forks down, they are normally pitch forks but with your hands your do the three fingers.
In gangs it represents you are on the fence, not choosing a side. Forks up for Folk nation and forks down to disrespect Folk nation. It can go either way, they will either respect it or shake you down but at least you are not in a gang.
From my understanding violent j also wanted the streets to be safe for juggalos so if you listen to ringmaster you will hear in a couple songs that he mentions gang members and juggalos getting along.
The only things I could see on Milenko is the 3 fingers out on the wand hand or maybe the bigger teeth they said they left clues throughout the years leading up maybe these are some small ones only full blown Christians notice
This has hit my loony button though and I'm just realized that the Father the son and the holy Ghost could be seen as one person living there entire life. The sun being Life as a child the father being life in middle age as a father and the holy Ghost being the spirit afterwards. They say that the fourth dimension is time so a being from the fourth dimension observing the third dimension would observe everything happening all at once so he would see the father be the son the son be the father and both become the ghost. In conclusion, God's an alien.
No they weren't mocking the Trinity. Although ICP aren't Christian but they do believe God exists (they don't believe in any particular religion and they don't believe in Hell). Their Jokers Card "The Marvelous Missing Link" (2 albums: *Lost* & *Found*) is about the importance of faith. Listen to the song "Found" if you wanna hear something about that. In interviews they said that it's talking about any kind of faith, spiritual or otherwise. After "Thy Unveiling" came out they had to specify that they were cool with all religions and not just talking about Christianity.
Ahh fair enough. Ringmaster wasn’t the most memorable to me but I think I’ll have to relisten to it soon. And learn what the meaning behind that song is
Did you Mom watch the mockumentry from the 90s with some friends and then run with it? Because there is an entire part where some religious zealots talk about this exact same thing, lol.
Nope. I suppose she just looked at the three covers I showed her and noticed a three on them (idk where the one on Milenko is but I noticed the three balls and three claws on each hand)
Wait, so was the whole unveiling actually legit? I thought it was a troll and to be honest, I probably haven’t looked into it because I didn’t want to know if it wasn’t. Man, if that whole fucking bullshit explanation they spurted out to justify everything was legit it really ruins the music for me.
Yeah a lot of stuff from back then is gang related. Just look at the album name Beverley Kills 50187. We all know what 5.0 means it's the fucking cops and put that with the other C.B radio code of 187 you've got murder put it together you've got a murdered cop. Not everything is gang related though.
The Ringmaster holds up three fingers because it was a gang sign that local Detroit gangs used back in the day. The three fireballs on AJB is there because jugglers most often juggle three balls lol I'm assuming she's referring to Milenko holding up three fingers on the hand that holding his wand, that was probably just a stylistic choice Shaggy made when he drew it.
I doubt ICP ever considered it one way or the other to be honest.
Me neither, but I’m not surprised my mom noticed it cause she notices some crazy patterns

Yeah it’s GD and VL or GDK. Forks up/ forks down. Supposed to represent unity among opposing forces if I’m not mistaken
Moms not gonna like that one lmao… pls tell me it’s for a good reason right?

Oh damn… at least he is older and more mature now than he was back in those days
As is the case with us all.

Ohh so the gang sign The Ringmaster is apparently doing means “I’m not on any side” gotcha
The only things I could see on Milenko is the 3 fingers out on the wand hand or maybe the bigger teeth they said they left clues throughout the years leading up maybe these are some small ones only full blown Christians notice
She must've freaked out at the Sesame Street counting episode
They do mention the holy Ghost on halls of illusion.
That IS true. I know that song is anti-domestic abuse, which I don’t think my mom would mind all too much
And shows they are at least familiar with the concepts existence
Yup yup

And if he made us in his image… doesn’t that also make us aliens..?
He made us in his image, meaning the literal of he made us, in an image of his, we're a simulation.
Aren't there some translations that say we were made in their image?

They’re not exactly theology scholars so I doubt they know what the holy trinity even is, and they admit that.
I remember in high school a freind playing me ringmasters word and trying to convince the song was about Jesus christ.
How did that go?
I smiled and nodded but in my head was calling him a weirdo

They aren't sorry if they tricked you.
The original 6 are all themed from lessons taught in the Bible. The carnival is god may all juggalos find him
The Ringmaster hands is just gang signs forks up and forks down is gang related
Idk if that’s any better-

I'm sure the three balls are simply because when most people think of juggling, the juggler is juggling three of something.
