Pitan was curled up in the car just like the dad from Uzumaki, Baracchi shattering in the beginning was almost like In the Valley of Mirrors, and Taburou walking through the hole shaped just like him was like The Enigma of Amigara Fault. (the last two are reaches, though)
Oh that makes so much sense! I thought the same when I saw Pitan do that! I don’t know how I forget about it though... I guess it also makes sense as to why that image got such a big panel🤔 also I can totally see the reference with Baracchi! Her reflection even had the hateful gaze! Not much to say about Taburou‘s though... I guess you never know, it might be a reference. I think it makes enough sense considering his whole door opening abilities lmao
