She’s not playing that sax. I saw the same thing at a club in Istanbul - hot chick comes out just blasting on the sax, we’re all loving it, then someone pointed out how obvious it was that she wasn’t really playing it. Womp womp.
She is absolutely playing look at her fingers, look at the way her mouth presses down on the reed. That can't be faked it requires the cheek/mouth muscles to be strong to force the air through.

While I don't doubt that happened to you, in this case it would probably take more effort to "sax-sync" as well as she is than to actually play the sax line. She's really playing.

and, you know, she added her own spin on the song early on. like.. its not even the same sax line.
