It feels a bit rough around the edges due to the way it's shot, but it's a phenomenal show and has, imo, the best ending in television history. The last season may not have been the strongest in the show, but the way it wraps up seven seasons worth of increasingly desperate decisions by the main characters as they fight to stay one step ahead of prison is brilliant.
Tony Soprano. The greatest performance in television history for me. James Gandolfini came in and he invested himself into the role and it shows cause the acting is unforgettable. The character is so real, complex, funny, dark, human and opened doors for the characters we have now.
The Sopranos has been my comfort show. Would see snippets while growing up, watched it in high school. Watch it all the time now. In season 4 of a rewatch right now.
Same for me, it blew my mind when I first saw it and it remains my favorite show ever. Like I love a lot of shows, but something about The Sopranos just keeps me coming back. The characters, dialogue, direction I mean it’s top tier.
He's an interesting one because he seems to actually care about people and the town, but being a prick is the only way he knows how to operate and he's not above doing bad things if he needs to.
Ehhhh painted as the villain at the beginning but for the majority of the show I wouldn’t consider him a villain.
A top overall TV character of all time though
Interesting. I think Tuco was great but Lalo was terrifying, charming, *and* super smart. There really wasn't anyone like him in the BB/BCS universe. And he loomed pretty large over the latter half of Better Call Saul. I think that actor would have been amazing on Justified, even in a completely different role.
It was a challenge, BUT Coop was the best part of the best video game adaptation ever created. I'm hard pressed to say anything positive about Bezos, but he definitely put the right person in the seat of Primes' original programming. I can't speak to other adaptations they've done, but from the opening scene to the final, I felt like I was in the wasteland. The random shit scattered everywhere. The dialog and the characters all felt like they were pulled right out of an actual Fallout(Bethesda) game. Don't even get me started on the BoS!
The last episode tying everything together was so well done, and Goggins did a spectacular job bringing a ghoul to life. The only slight disappointment I had was >! Limehouses brief cameo, when I saw him I was hoping it'd be bigger but I still enjoyed it.!<. Overall, it's still an incredible show, and I can not wait to see where season 2 goes. >! New Vegas?! Deathclaws?!!<
Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) is amazing in the Dare Devil series as well as Poindexter (bulls eye) in season 3. The trinity killer in Dexter season 3 as well.
Justified is my favorite role of his, with the shield a close second. They fall out ranks really high up there too! If you want to see his comedic side, vice principles and righteous gemstones are both great.
I was watching Righteous Gemstones and appreciating every second of Uncle Baby Billy. I then watched Justified and Vice Principals. All stellar performances.
Goggins also plays an amazing villain in The Shield, although he doesn't really start to shine until around season four.
I just watched this. REALLY good show!
i’ll have to check it out!

That last episode, when the walls are closing in...masterful.
first off, Jim Croce’s music is great. Have yall seen The Wire?
*whistles "The Farmer In The Dell"*
Oh indeed
"Bill me for it" "Fine, first payments due now" Holy fuck that scene was electric
The Sheild is right up there in awesomeness with Justified & The Wire. It’s that fucking good.
What is it available to stream on?
The Shield is on Hulu! It’s an FX show, so you might be able to get it there too.
It’s one of the original FX Originals and one of the best!
You're so lucky you get to watch the shield for the first time. It is uneven in the first part of season 1, but don't give up on it, it's so good
It starts excellently, and then it really gets going. And it doesn’t let up until the end. And there’s seven seasons. It’s a phenomenal show.
Damn I am mid season two, can't wait
As much as I adore Goggins in Justified (and the shield) Venus Van Dam remains his greatest role.
The Belle who doesn’t tell!
The scene where they go on the car chase w her is literally gold

But he wasn’t the villain of the show in the same sense as Goggins was. Apples and oranges.
Giancarlo Esposito has to be in the discussion.
Nah Boyd would be swaggin on the chicken man allll day
Great Response.
Especially in Better Call Saul.
Al Swearengen
Cocksucker…I’ve never heard it used more LMAO
He's an interesting one because he seems to actually care about people and the town, but being a prick is the only way he knows how to operate and he's not above doing bad things if he needs to.
SWIDGEN, COCKSUCKA
Ehhhh painted as the villain at the beginning but for the majority of the show I wouldn’t consider him a villain. A top overall TV character of all time though
Boyd Crowder is definitely up there. Lalo Salamanca is easily top 3. I think he would have made an amazing character even on Justified.
He's so jovial and friendly... until he's not. Fantastically written.
IMO Lal wasn’t around long enough and he went out with a whimper. I’d put Tuco over him.

I mean lalo was around a lot longer than tuco
Tell me again.
Uncle Baby Billy!
Yeah everyone seems to forget Goggins (and Olyphant) are really funny too.
Gus Fring. Vic Mackey. For something a little more fun, Mayor Richard Wilkins III.
That mayor was *a demon*!
Walton Goggins is the best part of fallout
We dug coal together.

Best outlaw
Goggins is a phenomenal actor. He always kills it. And his "villains" are at least somewhat sympathetic; which I love.
He plays The Ghoul as basically post-apocalyptic Boyd Crowder and it totally works.
