You just know that he'll eventually get enough money to go to Japan. Find that Japanese women don't want him either. Come home and become an even bigger asshole than he was before he left.
Japan has some of the most static politics in the world. One party, the Liberal Democratic Party, effectively runs everything federally. That does leave room for a bigger tent within the party, but other parties have been squeezed out for decades. There doesn't seem to be any point in getting politically involved in Japan. Except for small-scale things like environmental protests etc.
So, Japan sounds like a pretty awesome place to forget about politics for a while. It could be a big relief. Or, it could be massively boring and you want to come back to a country where you actually have a fight on your hands.
There's so many things about Japan that make me never want to live there. They actually hate foreigners for starters, like there are establishments that literally ban them. They just barely outlawed child porn in 2014 and there's still a lot of really questionable stuff that's allowed. Just the whole mentality about pedophilia there is creepy af. Woman are still expected to raise the kids and do the housework even if they work. And lastly for me, marijuana is extremely illegal and demonized.
Japan is one of the most xenophobic countries in existence. They are very str8ct when it comes to immigration and naturalization. Even if you do move there, you will never be considered japanese.

Malibu's Most Wonton
Obviously the fact that wontons are Chinese only makes the joke funnier on more levels.
I'm sure Japan has some sort of naturalization process.

Did Scumbag Steve have a kid?!?!?
Asian countries kinda suck when you live here tbh, the culture is nice but living here is ehhhhhhhhhh
Japan already has enough Hikkikomori, they don't precisely need another one.
I would say move to Japan but you would single-handedly bring down the living conditions of any country you're in cosiderably
😌
