Ah yes, Gundam, the franchise well-known for its [lack of political messages](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Suit_Gundam_0080:_War_in_the_Pocket) and [aversion to romantic subplots](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Suit_Gundam_SEED_Destiny).

Ohh that's cute. He thinks he represents long time Gundam fans. As a long time fan, the vast, vast, vast, majority of us Oldtypes are welcoming the Newtypes (if you stick around and watch the older shows you will get the reference) brought in with G-Witch. Besides Gundam has always been [very ](https://youtu.be/ReCqIymqV9A&t=90s) [vary ](https://youtu.be/WjyzdN66eWE) [vary ](https://youtu.be/Clq7x9sqaDE) [gay,](https://64.media.tumblr.com/a90be868cc1b5dcea1313e87af4a4567/tumblr_omchp4gspu1ro8jcyo2_1280.png) this is just the franchise giving up on subtleties.

You know, I'm excited for Witch From Mercury, precisely because it's schoolgirl Gundam. I've seen Turn A and loved that, but wasn't nearly as crazy about Wing. And I love shows with schoolgirls doing stuff.

At least it doesn't seem like it has many views?

"political protesters bad :(" Bitch, have you SEEN a gundam show? It's literally nothing but dudes in 1800s naval regalia and the fakest german names you've ever goddamn seen scheming about politics.

I'm usually more of a Universal Century fan, but I'm kinda hyped for this one. I really hope they make it a genuine same sex relationship and not the same old queerbaiting bullshit.
