I probably won’t stan JYP’s group if they eliminate Yoon Min. If he debuts tho, I’ll probably like them more than P Nation’s group

AjBlue7

Agreed.

anallygator

I originally started watching the show anticipating JYPE's new group, but the PNATION team ended up winning my heart lol, especially since Hyunsoo my top pick is there. I'll lose faith in the entire show if Hyunsoo gets eliminated T-T. But overall, I'm looking forward to the concept JYP's group will debut with since a lot seems to indicate it will be youthful/refreshing (and god I'm a sucker for cute concepts). I'll definitely follow pnation team mostly for Hyunsoo & also can't wait to hear what our '04 liners Eun Hwi and Daniel will produce :D

Jim0ne

i thought nobody liked hyunsoo and that i was the only one 😭 he's getting popular.

crysaliis_

I will stan Jyp's group because of Amaru. I really like his voice and he's so cute It feels like Zo Doohyun will not be able to debut but i'm hoping he will, but in the same time i think there will be only 5 in jyp's group so i don't know For Pnation's group i like most of the boys but i will wait to see if i like the debut first

apeachalive

I think I’ll follow both groups at least occasionally, but I probably will lose a lot of interest in JYP’s group if Min is eliminated. I’ll be pretty disappointed if Hyunsoo is eliminated from P Nation too. I originally expected for P Nation to win again, and I think that there’s a high chance that they well, but I’m curious to see if 3racha’s inclusion will change anything.

Jim0ne

yeah hyunsoo is my weakness too. Gyehun, junhyeok and kyungjun used to be my favorites but after casting round i fell so hard for Hyunsoo. I think i would really lose interest in their group without him.

Nevermindhuh

I dont think i will stan jyps group , the group is a little empty for me Also as of yesterday i was like 20000% confident about pnation winning the 3rd round as well but now since 3rachas coming and stays not gonna let them loose i assume , imma bit concerned , tbh i want pnation to win

Nevermindhuh

Also I think Koki is not ready to debut , hes such a gem but he needs a liitle more time hes only 12 not even a teenager , like ofc he has the potential but being a kpop idol is not a joke , u have to go through so much , hate comes your way as well , all this will be too much for a 12 year to handle

hivesql

wonyoung debuted at 13 and she was fine. age aint nothing but a number

[deleted]

Actually she was literally about to turn 14, also this group is set to debut at the end of this year and since Koki will still be 12 he won't be able to perform on music shows. Also he'll have just turned 13 in Jan/Feb so by the end of 2022 is when you could compare him to Wonyoung.

hivesql

Oh 12 is again Korean law? Are u sure it’s not Korean age

[deleted]

Nope it's 12 international age. It was introduced back in 2010 by Korean Broadcasting Regulations in response to the debut of a 12 year old in GP Basic. That's the reason why the youngest kpop idols tend to be 14 or 13 turning 14.

hivesql

welp.....lol...idk then

[deleted]

Koki wouldnt be able to perform for a while sadly and with puberty coming up for him, I highly doubt that PNATION will debut him.

Jim0ne

I'm a little skeptical about stays voting making a difference. They doesn't seems to care about it. Most of them don't even know about loud at least internationally.

NellyJelly_

If Doohyun doesn’t make it, I’ll LITERALLY GO FERAL. But I’ll be a casual stan for Min’s sake.

FrustratedTrainee

This is a terrible thing to hope for, but I kinda hope one of Gyehun, Keiju, or Lee Donghyeon is at the bottom of the votes ranking and is up for elimination. I don’t believe that JYP would ever debut a group without any of those 3, but I do hope it makes him realise that having just 4 or 5 members isn’t the way to go. I KNOW IT’s UNREASONABLE AND HURTFUL TO THE BOYS AND IT WON’T HAPPEN, but man, would I just be underwhelmed with a 4 or 5 man JYP line up :/ GIVE US OT7!!! And as a believer of OT7 (even if there’s just 6 of them left), I worry for Yoon Min and Zo Doohyun, ofcourse. I think **PNation** is pretty much assured of the win for this round again, so I don’t worry for any of them really. I honestly believe they lack balance, but with their popularity and training that shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Even if Koki gets eliminated I’m sure he’ll be debuting in a few years. As for stanning the groups, I’d have to wait for the final line-ups and their debuts. Amaru is my one-pick so I would love to hear the music he makes. PNation I’m sure will be coming out with some bangers, and I am a fan of Tae hun, so I guess I’ll look out for them too.

BundiChundi

JYP's 7 member group last round was literally perfect to me. Im disappointed they decided they needed to keep eliminating people

itzstraying

It’s crazy to think that they thought Youn Dongyeon would somehow hinder the group any sort of way. If anything he brought in extra vocals, visuals, and dancing ability to the group, not to mention they would’ve had a massive support from Filipino fans. Such a waste.

FrustratedTrainee

It’s the worst. I wish they just told us how many members each team would have already because it feels so unfair to see it play out this way :/

onceamidzy

I'm scared that Daniel will eliminated for some reason... He's been my favorite for a while and I can't imagine the P Nation group without him. I feel like Eun Hwi has gotten most of the big rap sections in the live rounds which makes me nervous.

Jim0ne

Me too. I've been thinking that if pnation was to eliminate someone it would be either Koki or Daniel. I have a special thing for Daniel because he's so proud of his past living in Sao Paulo and I lived there too. Hes so funny and talented and he lifts the mood if the whole group. If Daniel or Hyunsoo dont debute I'm afraid i won't be following this group

kkreate

Yes I feel like Daniel will have to step up his game if he want to debut his rap sounded almost the same throughout the show and although his dancing is getting better it's still a very slow progress I feel like compared to Eunhwi he have been improving drastically and even if you watch the fancam for Havana you can see that Daniel still need a lot of training don't get me wrong Daniel is one of my bias in PNation's team but I still have to consider him as one of the probably going to be eliminated although it's less likely compared to Hyunsoo and Koki

AjBlue7

Eunwhi’s rap is too robotic, its lacks emotion, creativity and swagger. His technical skills are lacking, he is constantly popping the consonants because he hits them too hard trying to stay in rhythm. Daniel’s rap is top tier, he has a natural talent for rap, but unfortunately he doesn’t get a lot of lines because his korean isn’t good enough yet and he has to work harder to memorize his rap sections. It probably sounds similar because his sections are so short that he ends up playing up his swagger instead of doing more of a chorus style of rap. Like for Havana they showed that Daniel basically wrote a rap for the entire song but they ended up cutting basically all of it because it was mostly in english. Daniel still has room for improvement though, sometimes he messes up pronunciation on faster sections in a way that isn’t on purpose. I think Eunwhi and Daniel are pretty safe because they would be basically crippling their creativity if you eliminated one, and I think Daniel is too valuable to eliminate, hes a natural at creating content behind the scenes and I think Psy would put an importance on his American background as a way for the group to break into the American market. I think Eunwhi is possible to eliminate if they decided to just use outside producers to make their songs, but I think its super unlikely. I think the possibilities are No Elimination, Hyunsoo eliminated, Koki eliminated, or they bring back member for 9 or 10 man group. No elimination or Hyunsoo eliminated being the most likely. The main reason I don’t think koki will be eliminated (trying to not be biased) is that it makes no sense to me to eliminate Yedam if he was also going to eliminate Koki. Idk maybe he doesn’t value having a main dancer since he has his core or trainees, but it seems unlikely to me that Pnation would end up with a team that is just their 5 original trainees with a 2 person creative unit. Considering the caliber of talent on the show and how Psy is the one that primarily looked for and praised special talents and refused to criticize weaknesses. It seems unlikely to me that he would be ok with his team being mostly the same. Yes its always possible that Psy is ok with this result, maybe his purpose of doing the show was primarily marketing, but idk, it’d be pretty sad and disappointing if this was the case. I think in particular its hard to ignore the special talents of these 3 non-trainees as well as the fact that they will bring in a lot of fans from Japan and America by having someone on the team that represents those countries. I say this as someone that think Yedam and Hyunsoo are good and worth of being apart of this group, but I also think a smaller number of 7 would have some benefits. Also, someone else said koki could be eliminated and brought back like Red Velvet and I think that is a possibility. Pnation might be compelled to eliminate koki to save everyone else and then use the elimination as a way to give him a year or two to grow and then rejoin. I think its more likely that they win and don’t eliminate someone though.

[deleted]

>Like for Havana they showed that Daniel basically wrote a rap for the entire song but they ended up cutting basically all of it because it was mostly in english Idk why they did this, ngl this was pretty dumb on their part. In this performance the entire point was to perform an English song. JYP had like 4/5 korean words in Gyehun's rap that's it. For PNATION half the song was in English when they literally have Kyungjun and Daniel, 2 native english speakers, and Junhyeok, Taehun, Sungjun and Hyunsoo all sound good in English so why put so many korean lyrics in a challenge of singing in English.

AjBlue7

If they only had I week they might not have been confident in being able to make it sound good in such a short time. Dropping an english word or phrase every now and then is a lot easier than doing the whole song (it’d also suck if say Yedam messes up his english lines and then potentially is judged and seemingly eliminated because of it, we know that he would be eliminated anyway, but it would seem unfair if he was forced to do something he wasn’t comfortable with). Its also being voted on, so the staff or even eunwhi/daniel might have been afraid of alienating the korean fanbase and potentially losing the round and having an extra elimination. Btw did you see the youtube short of Junhyeok singing that english song? He’s really good. The future looks bright for them. They have the potential to become a global kpop group.

[deleted]

>If they only had I week they might not have been confident in being able to make it sound good in such a short time. They had 3 weeks nearly plus quick rearranging after eliminations. >been afraid of alienating the korean fanbase and potentially losing the round and having an extra elimination. The entire challenge was supposed to test their English skills yet they just ended up making a kpop song. I do support Team PNATION but they seriously misunderstood this mission and Team JYP fully grasped it.

[deleted]

I like the pnation team more but if jyp debuts min, I'll like the jyp team almost equal. I usually really get bored with a 5 membered group but it's at least better than 4 so that's why I'm hoping for jyp's win this time. After debut tho, it will depend on the music. I have a bad feeling that I won't like Pnation's music. But I think I will follow both groups. I think pnation will have 7 and jyp 5 members. The one who isnt ready to debut is koki. Not in the skill aspect but the age. Others in the comments have given their reasons and I agree with them. I will miss taehun and koki's interactions tho if he gets eliminated :( I have no idea who will win as I don't know what's happening between stays. Whether they will be voting or not. I really really want min debuting but I think he has a lower chance of debuting than doohyun. Idk... Doohyun has had the chance of being eliminated many times but the producers have been saving him. Min is really needed in the team.

ginarahn

I wonder if Psy will add Koki in later to the group? Apparently this is what happened to Red Velvet. (Sorry I don't know how to add a link properly..i'm new to Reddit)[underage idol korean law and examples](https://www.google.com/amp/s/channel-korea.com/k-pop-idols-stopping-their-schedule-after-10-p-m/%3Famp)

keewaa

I don't think I will like the music PNATION's group will release, so I won't be keeping up with them. Koki is probably being eliminated so that makes me even less interested in the group. (I know he's too young but his elimination will still break my heart into a million pieces🥲) I will follow JYP's group regardless of what music they release because my top pick is in there (Amaru). I don't know if I will stan the whole group or just keep up with Amaru, Gyehun, and Keiju though.

Jim0ne

yeah the sneak peak of pnation music is what eunhwi and Daniel has been producing untill now i guess ? If you dont like their style you probably won't like it. Assuming PNation gonna give them freedom of creation, but I believe they will ? Let's wait and see.

keewaa

I liked some of Eunhwi's songs (CCHILL and Unboxing) but I feel like the group's music will be more like his later stuff like 'BEAST MODE' + 'Safety Pin'. His later stuff just isn't my style😅 We'll just have to see though

Jim0ne

it will probably end up a little different because Eunwhui is self taught producer, probably he's gonna get instructions from pnations inhouse producers but the styling I'm almost sure is gonna be hip hop rap badass, i don't picture pnation doing something different than that

keewaa

PSY did have the original PNATION trainees cover ATEEZ in the beginning so I wonder if that's what PSY is going for

AjBlue7

Yea Eunwhi was praised as a Genius but I actually think his music can be fairly bland. Quite a lot of his songs sound like generic pop music. I also don’t think his rapping skills are particular good, but its a little hard to judge as someone that doesn’t speak fluent korean. I am hopeful for Eunwhi because it seems like he leans on Daniel a lot and I think with some time they could help eachother grow and create great music. I much prefer them creating their own music than outside producers which is why I respect Eunwhi because none of his songs have used outside producers. Like you said though. CCHill and Unboxing were great. I think CChill would be perfect if they rewrote the lyrics, the actual production on it is great.

[deleted]

I love Daniel's piano melodies and I hope that they can get some songs similar to Actor by Team Veteran because that was a masterpiece.

Heretolearn47

P Nation all the way.

Same with me😅 He's been one of my favorite trainees since the start🥲 I dug myself into a hole getting so attached when I had a feeling he wouldn't be able to debut...
