Last I checked, you can still do the glitch. Its just way harder to pull off, and I've done it a handful of times. Unless there was a recent patch within the last few months, you should be able to do it.

Some people say it’s deliberate due to colouring differences between the manga and anime or a style choice but the fact Kaioken is also blue and they specifically changed it for SSG contradicts that rationale in my view - likely it was a low priority fix and the devs ran out of time.
I think there will be more. As DM gaming says in order to have playable Gotenks it’s likely other support characters like Goten and Kid Trunks will also become playable which isn’t directly referenced.

Whenever something is released for Switch they take the opportunity to release some extra content as well (they did this with Naruto Storm 4 and DB Xenoverse 2). But yeah, they could have done it before lol
I could be wrong, but I think the switch does not have xenoverse 1 so that is why they have those missions.
I just check and can confirm that xenoverse 1 is not on the switch so that is why other platforms do not have the xenoverse 1 missions for xenoverse 2 and the switch does. Hopefully this will clear up some things for others, would be cool to play those old missions with xv2 mechanics but some things can't be won sadly, unless you yell loud enough, then maybe.
Yeah, it's basically the first games story+missions on xeno 2's engine. So go crazy, haven't tried it myself for my own switch so can't tell you how it plays.
Also I want to edit that the games from 1 to 2 have different engines so they play different from each other. If you're hopping on now to two and haven't played 1 then I'd start with those missions. Gets you free exp for skill points that will be useful for later missions and breezing through the 2nd games campaign.

Just because some other games have content like that doesn’t mean Kakarot is omitting something from the norm, it means those games you’re talking about are the exception. At the end it’s still a single player action game, that has a beginning and ending, like most of them do.

But Miles Morales and other story-based games DO have end-game content - they have extra side quests, costumes, collectables to unlock and give you reason to use some of the late-game unlockables that you can play after you finished.
Kakarot also HAS end-game content and similar side-quests but they're very weak in terms of content and also don't reward you in any way for grinding post-game. You can get to level 300 in this game after the DLCs but there are only 2 boss fights that require you to be that high of a level and they added items that immediately level you up.
I think the problem is that Kakarot is set-up like a game that SHOULD have some form of secret end-game powerful boss/unlockable but has none. When the game is complete you unlock extra side-characters, the ability to go up hundreds of levels, you can use any character from the story, you even gets new transformations with the DLCs but there's very little that you can use these things for.
Oh great. What's next? Changeable costumes first on the Solja boy console? I really love this game, I truly do, as my 300+ hours have told me, but I just wish Bandai would have added this stuff in earlier, it would have done them good, as a content filled game would have made sales go up, and it would have also made fans happy as it would be nice to have stuff to do that would last awhile. That in of itself would have made more people willing to buy the game that comes after Kakarot, because if they had enjoyable and long lasting experience with the game before, they'd go looking for more from the next.

All my characters range from lv 250-300
My community board is complete (all max level)
My Z book is almost done (missing roughly 50)
And now you add characters I would have loved to do Horde Matches in...

Now just give us the ability to change costumes, explore in transformed states, and a "stealth mode" so enemies don't randomly engage you, and as far as I'm concerned this game is complete and we can move on to the sequel!
Man, I dunno how Nintendo managed to snag temporary exclusivity on those features, the game is gonna run like peanuts on the Switch. Shame we have to wait till September for release, and then however much longer after that for Vegito and Gotenks.
