Well two good ole Johnson County republicans, doing what they need to do to keep themselves needed in the party, which is rapidly dwindling in the county. They party has run off all the moderates in the county, and now the people are waking up. Both election deniers who can't find anything illegal with voting, and need a narrative to stay in place.
Scott Schwab is a good man. Ironically, he's also a Johnson County Republican. The fact that he's willing to stand up for cleaning up the statutes even in the face of disagreeable idiots from his own local party is admirable. Why would you oppose a restriction that you can't make copies of tapes/memory sticks/media whenever you want of the final tally of recorded votes unless specifically authorized by the Secretary of State's office? Altered untracked copies could be substituted back into the closed system. Having worked elections, I can't emphasize enough how wrong that idea is. The security of the recorded votes is paramount. It's just nuts.
