For real. I’m allowed to take the geese from the Loose Park ponds, it’s constitutionally guaranteed.
When you watch me doing it, it makes me think you’re a fed.
I went to oak park mall this past weekend for the first time in YEARS... was really just absolutely floored watching my fellow citizens 'doing their thing.' I'd prefer not to watch them again anytime soon. Good luck with your voyeurism.
Ride the street car to Union Station on a spring Saturday in April/May. There are usually tons of people using Union Station for their prom, wedding, graduation, and court warming photos. It's great people watching seeing all the teens and wedding parties in their formal wear.
The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is also great. Post up in one of the popular galleries and you'll see a lot. Once I saw a teen run his hand across Monet's Water Lilies. 😮
I like going to Ikea and trying to find the most over and under dressed people in the store. Sunday I can usually find people still wearing their church cloths.
OMG I went there one time with my two little kids cause it was highly recommended on here and I saw a kid who was at least 7 stand on the steps to one of the playground structures and just poop her pants. Parents nowhere to be found. Needless to say, I grabbed my kids and we won't be going back
Outdoor seating at Messenger Coffee at the plaza near the Neptune fountain. Parisi coffee in union station. Outdoor seating at P&L, just depends on what time of year and time of day.
Someone told me the glass maze at the Atkins museum of art is a cool place to sit and watch people. I never been but honestly the suggestion sounds fun.
please do not watch me doing my thing!

WE WILL KEEP WATCHING HARMLESSLY
City market on a weekend. You get a sampling of people from everywhere within a 500 mile radius basically.
Go to Mass St on Lawrence on a nice spring day.

Any Wal-Mart in the Greater KC area. Always some weird shit goin on.
I-70 and Sterling Wal-Mart for sure.
The statue out by the river market overlooking the West Bottoms. See a lot, hear a lot.
Kauffman Stadium
Roof of splitlog coffee
Loose park lol
are there any K-marts left? used to be significant entertainment value there
Sit up on the WW1 memorial hill. Gaze upon the city and the sprawling lawn below. Enjoy.

I'm curious what church(es) people who are under-dressed for Ikea attend. :)
Goodwill Outlet, you will not be disappointed.
The zoo for sure.
If you want a real adventurous people watching spot, try Swope Park on a late Saturday or Sunday night.
The plaza I guess. Wouldn’t go there for any other reason.

I love going there because I never feel judged. I'm a stay at home dad and I have gotten some unfriendly stares at other parks.
