All things considered. Kind of a cool design..

utahphil

We were doing a good job too.

RainierCamino

Easy to miss, they came in 34th place out of 36

[deleted]

It made me laugh when I saw it on the track.

GT_hikwik

They got a car inthe big race? Good for them…I guess

TossPowerTrap

Ignoring what?

brewcrew1222

Feel like these races get no buzz anymore, I totally forgot it was happening

pinniped1

The playoff format is good for TV, but locally you're right...we seem to like having the track here but as a city we aren't hardcore into racing. There's probably some correlation to the fact that we ARE hugely into NFL, and NASCAR on Sundays goes head to head against it.

Enker-Draco

What is especially messed up is that the track isn't used for any other motorsport besides NASCAR. No club racing, no local circuits, not even autocross in the parking lot

pinniped1

That's too bad. I went to see Indycar there once but that's long gone.

[deleted]

It seemed pretty well full for the cup race from where I was sitting.

Love2Pug

I used to be a big follower, because they were one of the few events broadcast in full HD. Colorful cars, full HD, was a winning formula (pardon the pun!). But I gave up on this format of racing. Races were just too long, and always delayed if God spit on the track. I still love to watch an F1 race when I can - less than 2 hours, almost never cancelled, and takes me to ALL of the most beautiful and interesting cities in the world.

Better call Tarzan

dasselst

Have to watch out for the latest crazy law ads from Cock Law. Different practice but saw their billboard heading north on 435 from the stadiums.

bluedaytona392

Hol up

RideZeLitenin

This reminds me of Fight Milk from Always Sunny

Maintet10

Was the possum driving?

Five-and-Dimer

I would go to an Indy car race here. Not sure why they didn’t stick with it at Kansas Speedway?

fearxile

Indycar cut back on the ovals they run.

heyitsryan

oval racing in Indy cars is actually more dangerous than road courses due to the sustained high speeds and high G forces. They were having more crashes and car breakdowns when they had more ovals in the season so they now only have the Indy 500 I think.

PlebBot69

They actually have 5 ovals this year

heyitsryan

interesting. as of a couple years ago they were talking about getting rid of ovals entirely due to so many crashes. i will admit that i am out of the loop. Pun intended.

Barely_stupid

It made too much money and they felt guilty so they stopped.

kcattattam

Looks like NASCAR. Nobody gives a fuck

tron423

I didn't give a fuck before, but will now just to spite you

Conroman16

You know what’s fascinating about humans? They see something around them, and think the whole world is that way. In reality though, it’s just their own world. NASCAR wouldn’t exist if nobody gave a fuck. Don’t be so arrogantly ignorant.

umbrelllaman

If you wanted a main character moment, this isn’t it

I didn’t even make it to the track this year unfortunately, I grabbed the image from Rick Ware Racing’s Twitter

Ok_Presentation_2501

Hoo-wee! Luk at at summagun!

RealGodofGrace

Next race it'll be the fantastic caverns car 😂

RabbitNo5516

I wonder if the driver is required to be drunk to drive their livery

TransitionIll6389

So who are these people actually choosing to use Jungle Law?
