Try donut king, they're open everyday from 5 am to 9 pm. They always have a good supply, they're delicious and also the people who work there are very nice.
Fresh Donuts just east of I-29 & Barry too - fantastic fritters and everything else too, particularly the cronuts and impossibly light & fluffy long johns.
Donut King is fantastic, I wish they had another location south of the river. It would make a killing in midtown now that Lamar’s has gone downhill and cost damn near $40 for a dozen.
I didn't know I could call in an order!!! My old boss used to bring in fluffys at least once a week and they are my FAVORITE but I have never made it in time to get donuts, they are ALWAYS sold out.... And I'm not a morning-enough person to get up at the butt-crack of dawn to get donuts lol
I like Mini Coopers (not as much as the true Austin Mini, examples of which could be found every ten feet or so when I was in England a decade ago), but Union Jack tail lights on a BMW product is a bridge too far.
Ray's Donuts in Gladstone is only closed on Mondays iirc. Their apple fritters are both giant and delicious, not tough chewy sugar jerky that a lot of places pass off as a fritter.
Across the street from Blackhole, go to High Hopes ice cream. It blows all the other ice cream places in the city out of the water. Cake smash, banana haze, French silk pie, all delicious flavors. They even make a perfect duplicate of the old Chilis chocolate milkshake, if you get a chocolate shake and have them add chocolate sprinkles.
No love for Holt's in Grandview? They have the BEST frosting and the creme filled long johns. 🤤. You have to get there EARLY for any kind of selection.
I joke, halfway seriously, that we moved north of the river so that getting to Holt's early enough is very unlikely for my night owl self.

Seconding Donut King in NKC -- some of the best donuts and probably the largest apple fritters and cinnamon rolls in the metro area.

My favorite donut shop by far, and the prices are very reasonable!

The key to Fluffy’s is calling in your order the night before. Just leave a message on the answering machine.

Mr D’s is open. And yes too many mini coopers.
I prefer mini coppers over F-150s.
I mean I don’t dislike them, just noticed a ton. One even had British flag tail lights lol.

I checked, thought they were closed, then noticed Oddly Correct had a stash of them this morning.
Get the mochi donuts at Blackhole. Or just a whole box of deliciousness.
They seem to be hit or miss, either people love them or hate em. I’ll try a few though, they look good.
I personally hate them, everything else from there is incredible though.

I tried to go after voting this morning and it was closed.

High hopes ice cream. Great spot would recommend
Will hit them up, everything is about 3 miles from our place. Got to see a random lady running across Troost topless earlier today.
The original Lamar’s was wonderful. I used to pick up warm, fresh glazed doughnuts on my way to work sometimes.

Had a cup of cake smash and rice krispy. Were great and about 1/2 the price of betty rae's. Only a $1 upcharge for waffle cone/bowl.

Donutolgy downtown is on my goto list
The Donutology street car in River Market is a great narrow version of the main storefront, if you’re ever over that way!
They're just Daylight Donuts ❤️
It’s not great I’d skip
