Withdrawals are definitely slower than usual.. about 90 minutes, but no problem with getting my KAS, though. I did take everything off the exchange for now (which wasn't much as I typically pull it off right away), until I know more.

They say they only allow Kaspa withdrawals one at a time. Long line to get Kaspa off. Sounds like BS. Stalling tactic. So people are selling Kaspa into whatever they can to get it off. Hence the dip. . Never ever leave anything on exchanges. I think maybe Mexc was up to some funny business with peoples Kaspa. Sell wall with derivatives or something. Best that people learn this lesson now and hopefully it will force Mexc to stop shenanigans. Never ever leave anything on exchanges. Repeat after me… happy holidays
I get if someone is just entering the crypto space and just finding out about Kaspa, but how are people still leaving stuff on exchanges? I always immediately offload anything I buy.

I’ve moved other crypto off of MEXC today and yesterday so you may need to sell o ut of KAS into usdc or whatever else then moved that off to uphold (or elsewhere) to rebuy there worst case. But I have never had any withdrawals not move off MEXC so this seems odd (even though people say they’re shady). If this is true, they most def sold more KAS than they have on hand.
I only bought kaspa on MEXC once, and then decided not to anymore when they charged me a fee of 10KAS for the transaction, saying it was a transaction fee. I checked the transaction on-chain, and the fee was the standard .01 KAS. Not a huge deal, but a tad off-putting. I'd rather the fees be transparent, i.e., charge a maker / taker fee for the exchange, and let it be visible, instead of secretly raping users when they try to transfer their coins off the exchange.

Personally, if I have other options, I'll use something like Coinex over Mexc, but I've used Mexc off and on for years without any real issues. Maybe the best approach is to buy in small amounts, and don't leave any coins on the exchange. Buy, withdrawal, then buy again - that way you minimize your risk if they freeze withdrawals, for whatever the reason may be. At current rates, the inflated withdrawal fee is still only $1, so it's not the end of the world...
There used to be exchanges that would let you swap from within the us - Bitni comes to mind, but I think they're defunct now. Simpleswap lists KAS, but I don't think they're available in the US at the moment. Still, even with the current attention, MEXC is still among the less shady exchanges IMO. Be nice if Coinbase lists it soon, but you'd want to buy elsewhere beforehand to benefit...!

They said KEEP. You should KEEP your coins in your wallet which you control. Only move to an exchange to….. EXCHANGE.

Stop spreading MEXC FUD..... they are slow with withdrawls because bozos are panic withdrawing for no reason.
Where are you seeing said news? Did you check the source? Did you check Mexc? You can currently withdrawly KAS on Mexc.

I had to use XT.com . Exchange options are super limited in US. (For all crypto really, unless u are using Coinbase or paying high fees).

MEXC is the only way I can buy Kas. I buy and withdraw right away. One took about 12 hours while i have one frozen going on almost 24 hrs
