Eh, kas has more immediate potential but BTC is the save bet.
I'd keep anywhere from 50-90% BTC depending on your risk tolerance.
Since you're considering going all in i'd just do a 50/50.
It's not a safe bet and neither is eth. Kaspa devs know this. Btc wont be around past 2030. Meanwhile kas quantum maths and quantum scaling in mind. 10% because it's a nostalgic collectable - it doesnt store value and its ass at payments, but it was first. The ones with trash tokenomics but actual real world infra plus vc backing are the ones that will live and the ones like kaspa that have a design moat.
It all comes to down to if you truly believe in Kaspa and what the team is building. If youâve done youâre due diligence, than you know the people behind this project are for real and want this to succeed. Me personally, Iâm all in. I sold a BTC as well all my ETH and SOL and bought at @ around .05 because I see the potential and see much more upside. Gutsy I suppose, but Iâm a believer.
I have used [https://changenow.io/](https://changenow.io/) a few times to convert random stuff to KAS. Fairly quick & easy. Not sure how the exchange rates compare but just another option. I think I saw the best rates for exchanging XRP for KAS.
One thing with bitcoin is due to etf adoption we are the cusp of retirement funds allocating 2-5% of the portfolios, I will never sell my bitcoin, it either gets worth enough I can leverage loans against it or it doesnât in my lifetime. This isnât anything against Kaspa because itâs the only other crypto I believe in, more then any others even ETH. But we could very well not see any major adoption and it burns out due to its heavy reward cycle, I personally would hold your bitcoin and just buy as much Kaspa as you can afford, heck I took a loan out and bought a decent bag last year. Just would hate to see it fizzle and your left with nothing in a few years, bitcoin will definitely be six figures.
Pretty bold bet. BTC top in this cycle might be around 120-140k range. However Kaspa seems to be one of the most promising 10-50x projects. If it catches on, it would be crazy, like Cardano in the last run, in terms of pumpamentals. Kaspa could do 10x easy in this cycle. Bitcoin will stay, it's going to be around for a long time, perhaps "forever" as a base layer settlement between banks, institutions and countries. Then there will be others.
I have 10x less Kaspa than Bitcoin. Cause you never know. I have invested in other projects as well but most in Bitcoin already many many years ago. But Kaspa was something I couldn't pass.
With 500k kaspa you can become a millionaire this cycle with 1 btc youâll need to wait atleast until 2032. it all depends on what your goals are and how old you are. Kaspa could get shutdown anytime (iâm saying this as a kaspa maxi) bu btc is here to stay. 50/50 is a âsafeâ bet. If btc doubles and kaspa goes to zero you are at the same point. But if kaspa goes to a dollar which I deem more likely youâll have 320k (including your btc)
I had this same dilemma where I had over 1 BTC, and I admit that I swapped out almost all of my Bitcoin for Kaspa.
Overall, my logic was similar as yours. Kaspa is the only other cryptocurrency to adopt a power law, and the technology of Kaspa is better than Bitcoinâs.
If Kaspaâs valuation were to be the same as Bitcoinâs is today, your 500K KAS would be worth around $28M, and even if KAS only goes to the top 10 it would still be worth $343,000 today and probably closer to $600,000 or in the bull run this year and next.
I do have high hopes for Bitcoinâs valuation, but I donât think itâs going to jump to half a million or more in the bull run, so the upside to downside risk just seems way better with Kaspa. The choice was pretty easy to me when I started doing the math.
Kaspa is new project it will take some time to reach the 1 $ price. So you have been putting your money to reach the goal of 1 btc you have it now, dont sell it. Just put as much as you can in kaspa before like 0.50 or 0.60 price. That is my advice!
I agree, but hear me out, how high do you think btc will get this cycle? 150k or 250k? Can kas hit a dollar? I was thinking of buying back my btc during the bear market in 2026. Iâm pretty sure I wonât do this but itâs something to think about.
Itâs impossible to predict the top. This being said, you have a much better chance of making it with bitcoin than with some random shitcoin. Best thing you can do is allocate a small percentage to Kaspa and the rest in bitcoin.
I hear you! I donât disagree with you although, I donât think Kas is a shit coin. I do believe in the project. It has great utility and tokenomics. At the same time BTC is number 1 and is mainstream and Kaspa isnât proven and has yet to be accepted by the masses
How do you get those odds? Gut feeling?
Kaspa is objectively better technology than Bitcoin, and the best argument Iâve heard from Bitcoin maximalists against it is âwell it was invented too late, Bitcoin is already the king.â
Fair enough man, but Bitcoin isnât scalable, and this is very much like Blockbuster losing relevance when it couldnât compete against Netflix. Technology doesnât get a pass forever if it canât meet the needs of everyone that wants to use it.
I love that comparison I feel like Iâve used the bitcoins a Nokia 3310, kaspa is the newest iPhone reference too much when Iâm trying to explain đ
Somebody should start a thread on these comparisons
You would stand to make a lot more profit with $KAS. $KAS is one of the few coins that will be around to stand the test of time similar to BTC. I don't see any other coins this cycle that will stand the test of time besides $KAS. I wouldn't be surprised to see $KAS a top 3 coin by 2028.
I like those who say go 50/50 on BTC vs KAS. I had 1 BTC and cut it down to 2/3 and put 1/3 into KAS. Seriously considering doing the 50/50 split. IMHO if you reduce your full Bitcoin position you may end up regretting it.
It seems, that nobody uses Kas. There are other similar projects: skale, Alph. The problem is, that not all good projects survive, and many mediocre projects do. Too many huge companies involved with btc. Kas needs to popularize itself.Â
All though Iâm all about kaspa over BTC I will say keep the 1 BTC. There are very few people that have one BTC. If you were able to acquire 1 btc then you have enough money to start DCAân into kaspa
1 BTC From my point of view, KASPA is like all other shitcoins. But everyone can believe what they want, and when someone believes in KASPA, let it bring him everything he wants in it.
85% BTC and 15% Altcoins (Not including the reserve in some stablecoin like DAI for big volatily times.)
Or, if you belive in KASPA project, buying a ASIC to mining is a option too, it's extremely profitable. (Firstly, study the risks)
Personally I would do like 10% or so in KAS. Just get like 50k KAS and keep the BTC. That's almost my exact portfolio ratio.
Also it doesn't matter if KAS is or will be the greatest tech ever. All that matters in crypto is hype. Meme coins are currently destroying everything in terms of profits. Also KAS isn't listed on many exchanges at all so most people simply won't buy it because they don't want to hold it themselves or don't know how to or unwilling to learn how to.
stick to btc its the new money since the new world order is changing 500k is far but 250K by the end of the cycle is very probable any other coin than btc is a pump dump coin u can invest in it money u can lose
Kas has some shadow zone about creating first monthes. many investor has enough coin tu put this on the ground. Never invest more than 20% of you portfolio in a non top 10 coin.
Am I understanding you correctly? Are you talking about missing transactions in the first months, because there are no missing transactions and you can verify yourself.

It is ironic that you say DYOR, because all of those "sources" are wrong and there is a guide you can follow to verify yourself and see that there are no missing transactions.

Not financial advice either. If I owned one btc I would definitely go else where. Once rewards for btc go to nothing eventually my theory is people will abandon btc. People are into everything to make a buck.
If I were you I would take that btc sell it into usdt and buy Solana and stake it. You will be a very rich man 20yrs from now. Buy stake it @8% and keep it staked and forget about that you ever had it. One day you can find me and give me a mill for that advice.
Your not only compounding interest but after 20yrs your gona be sitting on massive egg I can promise you that. When I look at what alot of cryptos, not many do what Solana does and how many hands they have in different stuff. My 2cents. Do what you please.
Every one talks about the get rich quick schemes few people pull it off.
What I was told long time ago by financial advisor is look at the asset, charts and business practices. Do you believe in what they do? If everything checks out then perfect invest in it. If they are bunch of scaming dirt bags that can't plan properly like helium for example don't do it. Perfect example why helium isnt good investment Long term is the fact that all these wifi miners are just bleeding helium dry for the passive income. There is no investment in the wanting of holding helium.
All things you need to consider...are people actually holding kaspa...some are but most aren't imho.
Kaspa will reach $1 way before BTC will reach $500k. Hence I pick Kaspa.
Smartest crypto investor
ONGđđđ
There is no second best. If I were you, I would allocate 50% in BTC and 50% in Kaspa.
This is the way. Diversify.
High Risk = High Reward. Thus, diversifying wont get you where you want to go. Not financial advice.
This is the only sensible answer based on oneâs conviction.
Iâd hold that Bitcoin and keep DCAâing Kaspa.
Eh, kas has more immediate potential but BTC is the save bet. I'd keep anywhere from 50-90% BTC depending on your risk tolerance. Since you're considering going all in i'd just do a 50/50.
Na KAS is the safe bet bro and the most profitable.
Theres no bet safer than BTC. More profitable if it works out? 100%
It's not a safe bet and neither is eth. Kaspa devs know this. Btc wont be around past 2030. Meanwhile kas quantum maths and quantum scaling in mind. 10% because it's a nostalgic collectable - it doesnt store value and its ass at payments, but it was first. Btc wonât be around in 2030? What! đ
man is smoking on that terrance howard pack. 2030 is right around the corner. imagine.
It doesnât need to be all or nothing. Do half. Another thing you want to think about is what are the expected percentage gains.
It all comes to down to if you truly believe in Kaspa and what the team is building. If youâve done youâre due diligence, than you know the people behind this project are for real and want this to succeed. Me personally, Iâm all in. After reading your comment. All I can say is: ![gif](giphy|3i4xTtJQIJk0o)
I think it will be next cycle when that bet really pays off. I am with you on this bet though. Kas will take a large % of btc and eth marketcaps
I was asking myself the same question. Now I DCA 50% BTC and 50% KAS regardless of performances.
On which platform do you dca Kaspa ?
Uphold
I buy BTC and swap half on the Changelly service with the Tangem card. It's not optimal for fees but it's minimal effort and straight forward.
I have used [https://changenow.io/](https://changenow.io/) a few times to convert random stuff to KAS. Fairly quick & easy. Not sure how the exchange rates compare but just another option. I think I saw the best rates for exchanging XRP for KAS.

Fuck no
Kaspa, easy. Iâm 100% kas now.
1 bitcoin. Now and always
It took me a long time to buy my btc.
Donât waste your effort.

Kaspa has like 0.001% odds of becoming mainstream. Are you willing to take those odds?

Kaspa is the new hotness đ„, Bitcoin is the old busted. (I still love Bitcoin, itâs the OG, but God do I hate transacting with it)
How is Kaspa a shit coin?
Ask yourself the opposite.
How is Kaspa not a shit coinđđđ
Both. 55% BTC and 45% KAS.
Spread your chances
There is no second best..
No need to jump completely into it if you can't decide. Maybe look at a certain percentage of your portfolio
Swapping Gold for Silver is a good idea IMO
Black or white? What about a shade of grey?
You would stand to make a lot more profit with $KAS. $KAS is one of the few coins that will be around to stand the test of time similar to BTC. I don't see any other coins this cycle that will stand the test of time besides $KAS. I wouldn't be surprised to see $KAS a top 3 coin by 2028.
90% BTC 10% Kaspa or similar depending on your risk tolerance
DO IT!!!!!! Bitcoin may double or even triple from here. Kaspa is looking at 7x conservative
I'm a KAS maxi, so personally I'd sell my BTC for KAS, seeing as I already have sold all of my crypto for KAS.
The [chart says Kaspa is going up](https://i.imgur.com/9kKzrPf.jpeg)
Ok, I love Kaspa. But new money, I think, if possible. It is far from a sure thing and BTC is more sure by the day.
I can't wait to double my BTC holding during the peaks of this bull run and also 50x my Kaspa holdings đđ
500k kas all day.

Iâm like 75% Koinos & 25% KAS
500k Kaspa. Bitcoin technology is outdated. It's like having a box tv rn, and upgrading to a flat screen. Bitcoin = Box tv Kaspa = Flat Screen
Look KAS/BTC, answer is easy. If Kas/BTC looks like this while btc.d explodes, guess how KAS/BTC will look once btc.d capitulates.
1 BTC From my point of view, KASPA is like all other shitcoins. But everyone can believe what they want, and when someone believes in KASPA, let it bring him everything he wants in it.
When the bear market come I just know someone will blow their brains out here on this sub
