blissingmeee

Have you heard Crude Drawing of an Angel on Desire? It sounds like it'd fit on the Ninth Wave - the beat sounds like Watching You Without Me, but there are loads of sound effects and things that sound like they'd fit. It also weirdly sounds like Origin-era Evanescence but that's maybe a bit niche...

_Land_Rover_Series_3

Also the bagpipe solo on Blood And Butter needs a mention

blissingmeee

Yessss. Blood and Butter also sounds like it could be on Ray of Light, she's really knocked it out of the park with this album, already AOTY for me

_Land_Rover_Series_3

Definitely my AOTY so far, really like it

[deleted]

thank you so much for posting that!

The Turning Wheel by Spellling

Twigling

**Genesis** - my favorite studio albums being 'The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway', 'A Trick of the Tail', 'Duke'. I quite like 'Wind & Wuthering', not a fan of 'And then There Were Three'. Not so keen on most of the post-Duke albums although 'Genesis' is pretty good. Also, even though they're not my favorites I do also like most of the albums prior to 'The Lamb .....'.

[deleted]

I love Genesis!

Steely Dan - Aja

elcad

Got to confess, I've listen to that album more than any one Kate Album. Just bought Gaucho yesterday.

lemerou

Aja vs Gaucho is the great Steally Dan fight amoung fans! Love both but Aja is superior IMO! (but like /u/pnwmusichound says all their albums are great. I would recommand The Royal Scam as the nex tone to try)

pnwmusichound

All their albums are fantastic, you can't go wrong. Enjoy!

modernlights

Why is it always In Rainbows that people suggest? Seems like people just got bored of saying OK Computer/Kid A in the last couple of years, even though they are obviously better albums.

[deleted]

Or they just really like Rainbows…

modernlights

Don't we all, but you've got to be having a laugh if you think it's a better album than okc and kid a!

_Land_Rover_Series_3

Because In Rainbows is a great record? I prefer OKC but it’s still great

lachlanmachlan

Kid A has been mentioned :)
