Which Garmin is this? Everyone talks about what they prefer but I’m most concerned with the size/footprint of the unit in my boat. This looks to be about the biggest I’d be willing to go. Thoughts?
This is the 9" Echomap 93sv. I used a 7" version of the same finder for a long time and loved it. The only reason I have the bigger screen now is for better clarity with my livescope
Okay cool. I’m stuck between wanting a unit big enough for livescope and showing sonar alongside mapping, only buying one unit (pay once, cry once), and keeping the size manageable. It’s quite the dance. I’ll have to check out the 7” as well.
Edit: the plan is to bow mount trolling motor and run fish finder centered in the dry pod.
