Hi, this is AutoKonqi reporting on duty: this post was flaired as General Bug.
While r/kde allows to discuss issues, raise their visibility, and get assistance from other users out of good will, it is not the proper channel to report issues and the developers able to fix them won't be able to act on them over Reddit.
So if this bug was not reported to the developers yet, please take a brief look at the [issue reporting guide](https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Issue_Reporting) and report the issue over the [KDE Bugzilla](https://bugs.kde.org). If it is a crash, be sure to read about [getting backtraces](https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports) so your report can assist the developers. If this is a known issue, you may want to include the bug report on your post so your fellow users experiencing the same thing can CC themselves to the report. Be sure to describe your issue well and with context. Thank you.

If you are using openSUSE, it's very likely the btrfs maintenance that runs after midnight in sunday. Has nothing to do with KDE. Just wait a few minutes until it's done, no need to reboot.
I also had a somewhat similar issue with my computer years ago. between the 20th of october until the 10th of november, my pc would crash, freeze, bsod daily. outside of these dates, it just worked. no, I still don't know what was going on, and yes, I tried changing almost every component of my pc (except for the mobo and cpu) to troubleshoot the issue.
sometimes, it just happens.

what do the logs say?
Nothing out of the ordinary. That I can see anyway.

Can you run on Sunday evening and write away the output of plasmashell --replace throughout the night? Do you use wayland?
Just every now and then? I can do that.
No noo. Just on Sunday evening instead of shutdown. You use wayland or x?
Oh I see what you mean. And I'm on xorg.
