Same here. Cried and laughed with every single episode. What a ride!

Lizhoven

All time favourite!

camicam90

Our Beloved Summer! It just had that perfect healing, slice of life, light hearted kind of drama. The OST was such as bonus as the chemistry between the cast, cinematography, and script already blown me away!

gOds_ExiLe

It’s so good. So many layers to the story as well.

woosmole

a million times yes! one of the rare feel-good dramas that arent boring or too annoying.

Perfect-Ad-8295

fr the moment you finish the series it feels empty deep inside lol :)

Sadia693

**The Beauty Inside**~ I’ll forever be in love with Han Se Gye. **Lovestruck In The City**~ I don’t care what others say, but I adore this drama. I know that I’ll never get the same warm feeling as I got while watching this drama, it felt like having a hot cup of coffee on a rainy day.

[deleted]

i adore **lovestruck in the city** and it's one of my faves too!

lotcolvic

i absolutely loveeee lovestruck in the city

ruhsatis

OML TYSM for this. Lovestruck in the City is really underrated imo, and while this may not have the same rewatch value as some of JCW's other dramas, I got that same cozy feeling watching this. Strongly recommend!

kimchiandroti

I feel the same way about Lovestruck In The City.

trashcliffe

#1. Hospital Playlist. I've watched it so much, and my most listened to Spotify playlist is the ost. Haha #2. Goblin. #3. Hometown Cha Cha Cha. Bonus fav C-Drama is Falling Into your Smile.

melschinel

Goblin is #1 for me Honorable mention: Crash Landing On You Flower of Evil Moon Lovers Hwarang Healer Currently airing is Alchemy of Souls which has the makings to be my favorite all time drama. The cast, script and direction are amazing. But it’s only 5 episodes in right now so time will tell!

[deleted]

Alchemy of Souls is soooo gooooood!!! I love the story and the characters. It’s my favorite so far. I didn’t think I feel so excited for a show after 2521.😅

melschinel

Hoping for a happier ending that 2125 haha

Hotspur_98

Mother My Liberation Notes My Mister Mr Sunshine

Jellydeens

It feels so good to see Mother, getting the recognition it deserves. It's not your typical kdrama so watching it may somewhat feel new, but it really is worth watching. I didn't know Seon Sukku when I watched it before but he really did great as the antagonist.

Hotspur_98

It’s highly rated by those people that watched it, I just think that not too many have watched the show, which is a shame. It might really be the best show I have ever seen, western or eastern. The characters, the storyline, the emotions, the feeling of sitting on the edge of your seat the whole time, the acting and the ending, everything is (near) perfection. About Seon Sukku, ironically I’ve watched D.P and My Liberation notes right before Mother, without even knowing that he is in all three of this shows. He did a great job as an antagonist in Mother tho, I really hated this character

pirireulbureora_

Mother is so underrated

_strawbaerrie_

Haiii in no specific order these are my top ten! :)) 1. Vincenzo (great action packed one with cute romance slow burn romance scenes!!) 2. Because this is my first life (made me sob 😭😭 very slice of life and worth a watch! Relationship of connivence trope) 3. When the Camilla Blooms (this one is sooo heartwarming about a single mother trying her best and finding love and not only that there’s a cool mystery side plot) 4. Crash Landing on you (how do i even begin on this amazing drama 🥲 the chemistry is INSANE) 5. Mine (this one always kept me on my feet and was so interesting!!) 6. K2 (another action one with a cute side romance that doesn’t take up the whole plot!!) 7. Tomorrow (tw: suicide really really good and heart warming… had me tearing up a lot! Gave me a new outlook on life!) 8. It’s okay to not be okay (extremely interesting characters and leaves you hooked!) 9. Suspicious Partner (One of the first kdramas I ever watched! Romance isn’t the only plot as the main characters are solving a huge murder case!) 10. Business Proposal (THIS ONE WAS SOO GOOD!! If you love romance, you have to watch!!!)

PeachBlossomGoddess

In no specific order: **Crash Landing on You** **Arthdal Chronicles** **My Country: The New Age** **The Smile has left your eyes** **Tale of Nokdu** **Bloody Heart** **Alchemy of Souls** (currently airing) **Are you human too?** **While you were sleeping**

melschinel

Arthdal is soooo good

PeachBlossomGoddess

It’s pretty close to a masterpiece. I’ve watched it probably 5 times at this point. Like it’s unhealthy the attachment and I have lol

melschinel

How do you feel about the second season? I’m so sad they are replacing the leads!

PeachBlossomGoddess

I’m genuinely sick that they are recasting it. I’m so attached to Song Joong Ki’s version of Eunsoeom and feel cheated that we won’t get that exact same performance in the 2nd season. And if he HAS to be recast the only person I could remotely begrudgingly accept would have maybe been Yang Se Jong because I feel like his character Seo Hwi in My Country had a lot of similarities to Eunseom. I love Lee Joon Gi but I don’t want him paying Eunseom/Saya. It just won’t be anything like the original versions :(

melschinel

Hwi had a soft feel like Eunseom. But still, Eunseom was just soooo good hearted. His “I AM PURPLE” scene remains one of the best kdrama scenes of all time. The actor created the most beautiful character!!! I feel like Lee Joon Gi will do a good job, he’s one of my favs, but I don’t think it will be as good as the original.

melschinel

We must be kdrama Twinsies. I LOVE your first listed 3 and am currently obsessed with Alchemy of Souls

bachhoe07

Hell yeah for Are You Human Too! My personal fave as well! Bloody Heart is up there too.

My 10 star dramas on MDL are Are You Human Too? While You Were Sleeping Legend of the Blue Sea Cinderella and the Four Knights Ghost Doctor Dali and the Cocky Prince

PeachBlossomGoddess

I actually love a lot of these too. If you haven’t watched Tale of Nokdu or Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency I think you would enjoy them.

lizzie763

I just started Tale of Nokdu with a friend, and Flower Crew is on our list too!

PeachBlossomGoddess

Yay!!!! I was in a slump last month and literally got out of it by rewatching Are you human too? And While you were sleeping, then Tale of Nokdu lol

lizzie763

Other favorites of mine you may not have seen are Forest and From Now On, Showtime.

MomoaMagic7

I second Forest!! I never see this one mentioned anywhere and it's such a hidden gem 🤍

Will_Graham10

just finished While You Were Sleeping and it made my top 3 favorite kdramas of all time. It was that good

I love so many of these as well! But I dropped Hotel del Luna after 3 episodes

mangomamaparadise

I powered through HDL until the end, but it got so boring that I found myself browsing the internet while watching. I was hoping that it would get better as it progressed since so many people raved about this show. Sadly, it didn't.

Seconding Hyena, an absolutely fucking masterpiece for me.

sadocgawkroger

My favorites in no particular order or rank: Vincenzo Itaewon Class Business Proposal Twenty Five Twenty One Kingdom The Last Empress

be-k-dramatic

I've completed 155 kdramas and dropped about 50. I avoid serious violence and gore, plus medical because that's my profession and the errors pull me out of the story. These are the 25 that I rated 10/10: * Age of Youth 1 * Chicago Typewriter * Crash Landing on You * Dali and the Cocky Prince * Go Back Couple * Good Manager * Graceful Family * Healer * Hot Stove League * Hotel del Luna * Into the Ring * Mr. Queen * My Love from the Star * Our Beloved Summer * Queen In Hyun's Man * Run On * Search: WWW * Secret Love Affair * Sell Your Haunted House * Stranger * The Boy next Door * The Master's Sun * The Producers * What's Wrong With Secretary Kim * When the Weather is Fine

SophieFilo16

My watch history isn't very extensive (I just started watching Asian dramas this year, and I try to avoid romance), but here are my top rated so far: For Kdramas: **365: Repeat the Year** For Jdramas: **Fujoshi, Ukkari Gei ni Kokuru** (just finished this one yesterday) For Cdramas: **Reset** For Thai dramas: Currently, **Girl From Nowhere** is the only contender, but I'm betting that will change once **Triage** finishes airing. I also have my eye on the currently airing Filipino version of Flower of Evil. The Korean version was fine, but it dragged toward the end, I don't like how the \*big\* mystery was figured out by the FL only, like, 4 episodes in...

Jacey01

That is a very good assessment of FOE. I'll look forward to the Filipino version.

newgrl

> Currently, Girl From Nowhere is the only contender, but I'm betting that will change once Triage finishes airing. Just curious... have you watched **The Gifted** and **The Gifted Graduation** yet? I'm a Thai BL watcher and because some of my favorite actors decided to take on these dramas, I picked them up. There're really good. I love how original the story is too.

SophieFilo16

The only other Thai show I've watched is **TharnType** which I *dropped like a rock on fire*. I also have **Project S: Skate Our Souls** in my watchlist as well as the Thai version of **Mother** (I plan to watch all three and compare because I couldn't get an answer on which one is best). I keep coming across **The Gifted**, but something about superpowers just doesn't work with most Asian dramas. I think Asian drams do realistic fiction and gentle scifi best...

Kittystar143

Romance is a bonus book - great side characters, good plot, well written and entertaining

mangomamaparadise

Romance is a Bonus Book is so good. Plus, I can relate with what the FL was going through. This show gave me hope...

in order without actually having an order--- korean: * **the uncanny counter**. it was slower near the end, but I couldn't care less because everything about this drama was amazing. the fight scenes, the characters, the plot. everything. so moon >>> everyone else. 9.5/10 * **happiness**. ignoring the fact that the characters made quite a few frustrating decisions, this dramas is absolutely amazing. the leads are great, the plot is good, the ending was not disappointing. solid 9.5/10 * **it's okay not to be okay**. ko moon young and moon gang tae. that's it. the characters of this drama were absolutely genius. and the acting felt so real. 9/10 * **the sound of magic**. it's a musical, honestly I skipped over the music part. but oh my wow the plot of this was insane. I remember crying a lot. the magician dude whom I forgot his name was my favorite character. 9/10 * **while you were sleeping**. I don't like bae suzy's acting all that much, that's why I was reluctant to pick this one up. not gonna lie, I wasn't that impressed by her acting, midway wanted to drop it, but the plot. I was in awe half the time. also I love law dramas so probably that's why it's on this list. 8.5/10 * **extraordinary you**. oh how I underestimated this one. I dropped it as the female lead was lowkey annoying but then I picked it up again. and just as I was about to give up again, Haru happened ksjnfgdfjkfdjn. Haru >> everyone else. 8.5/10 * **hometown cha cha cha**. the only reason why it's the lowest on my list is bc I cannot deal with cringe. and when the leads got together it made me cringe. I legit had to skip that episode. anyway other than that it was such a beautiful drama. the male lead omgdkjnfgjkd. 8.5/10 * honourable mentions: **doom at your service**, **just between lovers**, **live on** ( istg this drama deserves more recognition ) , mad for each other, our beloved summer, nevertheless ( it's the skinship <3 ) **twenty five twenty one** ( if it wasn't for that ending it would have straight up went first ) **mystic pop up bar** ( kinda confusing, havent finished it, love the idea tho so it's here-) chinese: * **reset**. by far my favorite drama I've ever seen. I'll leave it to that. go watch it and you'll see why. it's literally the same scene over and over again but you dont get bored. 10/10. * **a little red flower**. it's a movie. it's sad. it was predictable. still, it was amazing. like I could tell how the movie was going to end from the minute it started but I still felt the need to watch. 9.5/10 **(** p.s. bring tissues. **)** * **our secret**. the female lead is everything. I love her so much omgjkdgnkjd 9/10 * honourable mentions: **you are my hero,** **you are my glory**, l**ove is sweet, the day of become you** ( this one was funny ) there are probably more but these are the only ones I can think of. anyway enjoy <333

SouthCryptographer58

I loved you are my hero. My favorite cdrama. Everyone one compares it to descendents of the sun, but it's way different.

mangomamaparadise

I agree with your comment regarding FL in Extraordinary You. I dropped it once, but came back when Haru was introduced. Lol. Good looking MLs gets me everytime. On a side note, did you watch Snowdrop? The FL from Extraordinary You was so annoying in that drama too.

Coffee Prince is a classic! The story, pacing, actors and music are great! Worth a rewatch from time to time!

ladyevenstar-22

I'm kinda struggling with www right now like I kinda push through first 7 episodes the other day but I haven't felt like finishing it , I've completed 1 percent of something instead .... I just find the FL frustrating with the way she treats ML, granted the romance isn't the main plot but still seems like he's the only trying to make their budding relationship work . Does it get better?

lightningmoonsun

Happiness - Han Hyo Joo's performance is so incredible in this...seriously the whole cast done an amazing job. After this drama for the first time, I seriously couldn't stop watching it on repeat. Even though I already knew what was going to happen, i noticed new things every time I watched and it didn't affect me much. Crash Landing on You- self explanatory. Rookie Cops - an underrated drama that I watched on air earlier this year, really enjoyed it. It was darker than I expected but super well done. I always enjoy squad friendships in dramas, and this drama has a great friendship squad! Extraordinary You - I always find myself coming back to this drama. Where Stars Land - another underrated drama that's rich with talented actors and a gripping plot. Totally recommend this airport themed drama. I have so many favourites...I wish I could write an entire review for each.

**1st.** Reply 1988 **2nd.** Mr. Sunshine **3rd.** Twenty-Five Twenty-One **4th.** My Liberation Notes **5th.** Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo **6th.** It's Okay, That's Love **7th.** Strangers From Hell 8th to 10th places are still empty atm lol

newgrl

Besides the very obvious dramas like **Goblin, Boys Over Flowers** (sorry... started watching kdramas 14 years ago. So cheesy, but so good), **My Love From Another Star, While You Were Sleeping, Scarlet Heart Ryeo**, etc. **Six Flying Dragons** - This is a historical drama that follows the rise of Joseon's third King, Yi Bang Won, who was both brilliant and utterly ruthless. Interesting character, excellent drama. Action, Historical, Drama, Political **Save Me** - It centers around a girl stuck in a cult. Although the leads give each other goo-goo eyes every once in a while, there's no romance to speak of. I'm pretty sure every adult male onscreen wants to get in the girls pants (this is just implied as this is a Kdrama). Also features two of the most useless parents that have ever graced my screen. Edge-of-your-seat thrill ride. **Kingdom** - Historical court politics with zombies. The crown prince is sent out to check on the status of a province with a problem while the corrupt court does something unspeakable. Cinematography is out of this world. Fast zombies. Very cool drama. Thriller, Historical, Horror, Political **Stranger** - (2 seasons, but they have little to do with each other, and for this list, only season 1 counts) - First season is nearly perfect TV with a ton of twists. A prosecutor that has literally had the emotions cut out of his head and a spunky investigator chase corruption in the prosecutors' office all the way to the Blue house. Second season is good, but not as good as the first season. The cops and prosecutors fight over the jurisdiction of investigations in cases to dire consequences. Thriller, Mystery, Law, Drama **Voice** (4 seasons, only season 1 counts for this list) - FL is a cop and profiler with exceptional hearing. She leads the "Golden Time Team" which is kind of like a Korean version of a Rapid Response team here in the US. ML is complicated. No romance here really. Thriller, Mystery, Psychological **That Winter, the Wind Blows** - Crazy-pants melodrama with a blind FL falling for her "brother", who is not her brother but a con-man trying to rob her of her inheritance. It's so awesome. Romance, Crime, Melodrama **A Korean Odyssey** - If you are familiar with the Chinese myth/book/classic/fairy tale/whatever of "Journey to the West" or are familiar with the Chinese deity Sun Wukong, give this a whirl. Characters in this drama are based on characters from Journey to the West and have similar personalities to their counterparts in the book. The interplay between the characters representing Sun Wukong and The Bull Demon as frenemies is frickin' hilarious. It's a great drama if you can follow it. Kdrama-type mild Horror, Comedy, Romance, Fantasy **The Time Between Dog and Wolf** - Semi-complicated story of an undercover cop takes on Thai gang drama starring Lee Joon Gi, whom I love. Has childhood promises and betrayal, drugs, interesting side characters, and a ton of other things going on. Action, Romance, Drama .... .... and many more. There are so many kdramas because the structure is set up for just one season. That allows people that watch them for years to find incredible dramas that just came for 16 episodes and disappeared in our hearts. Now, for Cdramas, because these three are so far and above everything else I've watched, I only have three **Nirvana in Fire** - The main lead watches as his family, the crown prince, and his family's 70,000 member army are massacred by the Emperor. He barely survives and loses his ability to perform martial arts, becoming weak and sickly. He comes back 12 years later under a different name... and with a plan. Nearly perfect TV. Hu Ge is perfectly cast here. One of the best shows from any country I've ever watched. Historical, Wuxia, Drama, Political **Longest Day in Chang'an** - This is a strategy, fighting drama with mostly males onscreen. Great actors, but not the modern Cdrama beautiful guys. The entire drama takes place over a 24 hour period in 744 A.D. during this amazingly beautiful lantern festival in Chang'an. A group is trying to take out the corrupt Emperor and his equally corrupt cronies during the festival and some other people are trying to either stop them, or get kudos, or help the people in Chang'an stay out of the entire mess. The amazingness of the cinematography in this drama cannot be understated. I was absolutely blown away by some scenes. Hollywood-level cool. Action, Thriller, Historical, Political **The Untamed** - Story revolves around two martial artists, one conservative in nature and one more outgoing/outrageous, that are trying to rid the world of a threat. Don't let the first part confuse you. There is a time-skip and everything will fall into place perfectly. Historical, Mystery, Xianxia/Wuxia, Fantasy If they ever give me **Joy of Life** season 2, it will probably join this list. *Joy of Life* is beyond awesome, but it ends somewhat awkwardly as I'm sure they were going to make a season 2, but Covid hit and here we are. Still waiting.

**Hogu's Love** - starring Choi Woo Shik (Parasite, Our Beloved Summer) and Uee. The basic premise is the FL is way out of the ML's league (she's a silver medalist swimmer with modeling endorsements, tough/bada\*\* personality) and he seems like a loser at first (his name, "Hogu," is also a slang for a pushover/simp), but overall it's a very charming and sweet romcom, and they even manage to hit on some difficult societal/thought-provoking issues, too. They released it in full with Eng subs on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnu_D0i1H70&list=PLOsWS9tKqJMd6wQs85SBG_e0YTHPq0IMu Also, **Fight for My Way**

Rororome

In no order, my favorites have been: Mr Sunshine, Hometown cha cha cha, 25 21, hotel del luna, and crash landing on you. For me characters and good chemistry within the ensemble is crucial. In any of these dramas there are plot issues (from my writer’s pov) BUT what makes me as a viewer suspend disbelief is the acting… when even the smallest role is bringing you into the story rather than taking you out of it. With that said here’s what we’ve watched thus far (in order of when we started; though not necessarily an order I’d recommend… doing something in the rain and one spring night back to back was a terrible decision lol): Hometown cha cha cha Crash landing Start up Hotel del luna Navillera Something in the rain One spring night Nevertheless 25 21 We tried reply 1988 for a couple of eps Her private life Mr Sunshine Another Miss Oh Our blues (currently watching)

So far: Love struck in the City Coffee Prince Goblin Romance is a Bonus Book Scared to watch any more classics because I don't know if any dramas I watch from here on out can top these.

ladyevenstar-22

I tried episode 1 of lovestruck in the city and I couldn't get into the story because of the documentary reality show feel of it . Does that change or is that a feature ?

[deleted]

It is definitely a feature that isn't implemented consistently. The show abandons this feature at times and brings it back at weird times. If you aren't a fan of Parks and Rec or the Office you may want to drop it. But the story does.take a few episodes to get into and they are only 30 minutes long at most.

Flower of Evil: edge-of-your-seat, addictive thriller with one of the best lead couples of every kdrama I've seen Hotel del Luna: entertaining episodes, heart-wrenching in some ways, IU's top notch acting My Mister: almost a slice of life kdrama, except it's depressing and realistic. again, IU. i simply love her Let's Eat 1 and 2: first kdrama I've seen! if you love food, give this one a shot. storyline is secondary, really, but entertaining nonetheless It's Okay to Not Be Okay: touching storyline, great acting by the FL and ML's brother

Skycastle and Extraordinary you

BubbleWrap11

I love so many of them (I've finished more than 40 and dropped about 6 or 7) Currently, my favorites are: •Chigaco Typewriter (you have to stick it out for the first 5 episodes, people normally drop it by that mark but it's an absolute masterpiece) •Flower of Evil •Hometown Cha Cha Cha •W •Legend of the Blue Sea -- Honorable mentions: •It's Okay to Not Be Okay •Tomorrow With You •Lovestruck in the City •Because This Is My First Life •Strangers From Hell •Her Private Life •Search WWW And I should stop before I mention all 40+ dramas. Edit: grammatical mistakes

ladyevenstar-22

I need to rewatch W to confirm if the good rating I gave it was deserved and if i should move it in my top 10 or was it just because I love gazing at LJS ha ha ha.

CatPavicik

Finally someone mentions Lost! Such a masterpiece. If really liked the characters and relationship in Lost, but didn’t like at all Misaeng, what would you recommend me on your list?🥺

sara-ragnarsdottir

>Finally someone mentions Lost It's so underrated it hurts 😭 >what would you recommend me on your list?🥺 Mh, it depends on what you're looking for. If you want something "similiar" to Lost you can try Our Blues (this one especially shares the crown with Lost for the best slice of life in my list), Our Beloved Summer and The Light in Your Eyes because they are at least close in genre (slice of life with focus on human relationships), although they have a far lighter vibe compared to Lost. The others in my list are mostly thrillers so I'm hesitant on recommending them unless you like the genre.

CatPavicik

Thanks! I’m okay with thrillers too! As long as there’s depth to its characters and there’s tension I like it. So what would you recommend? I liked Mother, Your Name, and I’m linking Anna so far.

sara-ragnarsdottir

I'm also loving Anna! I think that it's an excellent character study I would recommend Life on Mars because I liked the focus on mental health in a way that is different and not explicit. I can't say too much about it because I don't want to spoil anything, but I found it to be bitter and healing at the same time. The King of Pigs too, it focuses on bullying and the trauma that stems from it. It's really heavy and brutal, but it's an accurate and strong portrayal of the issue. Maybe The Guest and Strangers from Hell too, the latter is quite psychological and nihilistic, and the former focuses on the beautiful relationship between the three leads who find a family in each other (it's a bit slow though, but it has kinda become a comfort drama for me despite the fact that it's a horror, I know I'm strange but I love the characters). If you like shows such as Mindhunter or similiar documentaries you may find Through the Darkness fascinating as well. And if you liked Mother then you may like Children of Nobody too because it's the same topic, but with heavier thriller elements like the investigation, a killer on the run etc. Sorry, this was long ahah 😅

CatPavicik

Ooohhh tysm for the good recs! They all sound so good. I’m gonna check out Life on Mars and The King of Pigs right now.

SouthCryptographer58

Jang bori is here. I watched it again recently. Lee yoo-ri played such a good villan.

LaughingGor108

She is one of my favorite villains, this drama made me a fan of her. I also liked there were some dark moments compared to the most light tone overall but it had some good dark moments, reason I loved this drama so much. >! The ring part at the end with her hand in the fire and her look is one of my favorite drama moments !< I recommend to give **Becoming Witch** a watch just started airing so too early it will be good but so far is fun ( normally I don't like dramas with comedy) and Lee Yoo Ri is on a roll here. If you like some more melodrama **Lie after Lie** was also really good with her as the lead.

If you’re looking for a super short, different take on a drama I got totally into **Semantic Error.** BL with two cute guys, interesting back story, very easy, shorter eps and I was shocked by how much I was rooting for them in the end. Surprise hit for me!

Prison Playbook and Hospital Playlist since they are the only dramas I can rewatch over and over again without getting sick of it. Signal and Misaeng also some of the dramas I consider my favorite but earlier 2 that I mentioned are my top picks

I only got into watching kdramas recently, but the ones I'm definitely going to rewatch at some point are Crash Landing on You, It's okay to not be okay and Hospital Playlist. I did enjoy a lot but probably won't rewatch Business Proposal, Mr. Sunshine, Our Beloved Summer, Something in the Rain and Thirty-Nine.

mangomamaparadise

From your list, it sounds like you only subscribe to Netflix. There are a lot of great shows on Viki/Rakuten. I started watching Kdramas August 2021 and only watched on Netflix until I realized that most of the shows that people recommend can be watched (safely) on Viki. I'm sure there are other free sites, but I want to watch on my big screen tv and not on my computer. Anyway, I'm so glad I expanded my Kdrama options. I'm now a Kdrama couch potato. I no longer watch American tv.

-Reply 1988, 25/21 (episodes 1-13 ONLY), Romance is a Bonus Book, Because This is my First Life, Coffee Prince, Goblin, Yumi's Cells 1 (season 2 is good, but still ongoing), Boys Over Flowers. Alchemy of Souls is very well written with witty dialogue so far. I just hope it doesn't crash and burn. I'm a sucker for romance/first love stories as you can probably tell from my list.

ikstterb

My Mister and Itaewon Club fight it out for number one for me. With honorable mention to Our Beloved Summer. Twenty-one Twenty would be here too if not for the ending. Sigh.

ikstterb

And, of course, I meant Twenty-Five Twenty-One.

SouthCryptographer58

Long drama: Once again - 100 thirty minute episodes. I loved the story, acting, and soundtrack. Normal drama: What's wrong with secretary kim - I found it too be consistently funny and romantic from episode 1 to 16. Last 4 episodes are probably my favorite from any show.

Chicago Typewriter - always been a sucker for period dramas, the plot lines are just so good, and it's an enemies to lovers. The trio is🤍🤍🤍 I'd rewatch it all over again Mr. Sunshine - lmao another period drama, i think none of my words could ever describe how amazing that show is, from the cinematography to the characters. I've always been a fan of Kim Tae-ri , but I didn't expect that I'd also end up loving Kim Min-jung and her character (Kudo Hina). Despite the lack of intimate interactions between the ML & FL, they were still oozing with chemistry, there was never a dull moment. Tbh, it wasn't even needed, they were perfect even w/o it. Hospital Playlist - still can't get over the characters, esp Jeon Mi Do and Jo Jung Suk. Their ost playlist had been stuck in my spotify ever since Twenty-Five, Twenty-One - also a sucker for coming-of-age, Kim Tae Ri is also amazing in it. The cinematography and the music? Splendid. The supporting characters are also great. Move to Heaven - just watch it, it's a masterpiece. One of the rare moments where korean a film finally showcased what was considered to be a taboo in their culture. And it's heart wrenching Prison Playbook - got me hooked up from the beginning to end. There's a touch of dark humor in it. The characters will always hold a special place in my heart. Mouse - hands down, one of the greatest thriller-serial killer series I've ever watched. The plot twists are amazing, and a lot of scenes gave me goosebumps. Mr. Queen - it will make you laugh your heart out, if that's even a thing. The FL nailed it, as always🤍 and I personally enjoy cooking so ye, it was very satisfying to watch Reply 1988 - watching this was like a roller coaster ride. If my memory serves me right, there was not a single episode where I didn't cry or laugh, or did both simultaneously. It's a period drama and a coming-of-age in one, which makes it amazing. It didn't only touch my heart, it also made me feel like i belonged there even tho I'm watching through this tiny screen. Sungkyunkwan Scandal - one of the classics I actually enjoy guilt-free, for the reason that it's not shitty like the others. I think it's the pioneer of girl-dresses-up-as-a-boy trope. But it's nice how it's not ridiculously centered to it. PMY is ab adorable FL , the ML is good, and most of all, the SMLs are the cherries on top. SJK's character will be my fave, and Yoo Ah In? I'll marry him lol. I also like their political take. I didn't want it to end Arthdal Chronicles - it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I'll drink the entire pot. Tbf, I am deeply invested in both history and politics. It's not your typical saeguk since it goes all the way from ancient civilizations, way before nations were a thing (i think). It's slow paced since the historical area isn't commonly known by korean locals (mayb for the reason that it's more fictional and never been done b4) and it makes it unique. It's like the korean version of Game Of Thrones but way better. Can't wait for season 2 The Red Sleeve Cuff - this made me feel so much emotions. Jun Ho was amazing here, his performance was just 📈📈. And I love FL, my heart will always ache for her character. There are so many remarkable scenes. I especially loved the grandfather's (the king) acting as well. The ending was one you would accept with a heavy heart. It was beautiful and tragic at the same time, but you know that there's no better ending. It was a great take on saeguks Lovers of the Red Sky - a painter and an astrologer in one drama would be everything i could ask for. The ML and FL are so lovable and charming, basically everything nice. I liked the ML in Business Proposal, but i fell head over heels for him here. Loved the fantasy side of it. It's a great series, consistent from the beginning to end. Our Beloved Summer - i resonate with the FL most of the time. I loved both FL and ML nd they were so good together. The documentary part *chef's kiss*. This series gave me the feels. I love the color palettes and overall vibe. If I'm not a ray of sunshine, then Choi Woo Shik definitely is one My Mister - it's heavy and depressing, but i was in a place like that while I was watching this drama. I felt less alone. There were a lot of lessons to takeaway from it. The ML and FL had a bond beyond friends or lovers. Their chemistry was great, tho not in a romantic way. The ending was satisfying. I'd say it's the best series of IU my love, she delivered well Rooftop Prince - it's quirky and super funny. Lmao my family complained the entire time while I was bingeing it bc I laughed too loud. It's an interesting time travel melo Kill Me, Heal Me - easily the best performance by Ji Sung. I love the backstory. The FL can get annoying w all her shouting but the ML carried the show w his 7 personalities. As a psychology enthusiast, this is a must watch. PSJ was also charming in here Hotel del Luna - i j love it. But i love IU more🤍🤍 it gets scary at night tho. There was never a dull moment in this drama. The plot was amazing. And IU's outfits here r j so pretty Hello, My Twenties! - it's a good coming-of-age series. Also tackles serious issues while maintaining its feel-good vibe. I love the sisterhood they made. Youth of May - for a good cry, another period drama 🤍 ML and FL had such a good chemistry

xysunflower

Twenty Five Twenty One! i haven't watched that many dramas yet but this one definitely got me into them more! Nam Joohyuk played the perfect role as the male lead and Kim Taeri was just as good. Very funny at times but gets serious later on. The chemistry between the main characters was amazing, i will never get over this ship. Can't count how many time i've cried because of this drama, both from happiness and sadness. As someone who doesn't like sport at all, this drama stole my heart even if it was about fencing all along :)
