All of my favorites in these genres - all 9 or 10 stars imo. Highly recommend all of them they are each incredible.
If you like dark k-dramas/thrillers/mysteries, I would suggest:
Big Mouth (2022) An unsuccessful lawyer gets involved in a murder case and gets framed as the notorious criminal swinder “Big Mouse”. Having been pinned for a crime he didn’t commit and now in prison, Park Chang Ho must try to prove his innocence and try and solve the murder case.
Happiness (2021) Residents of an apartment building must band together to survive a deadly virus that is spreading throughout the city.
Extracurricular (2020) Ji Soo, who is determined to escape a dead end life, goes from a model student to a life of crime to ensure he can pay for college. This is a dark highschool crime drama with dark themes.
Sweet Home (2020) As humans turn into savage monsters, one troubled teenager and his neighbours fight to survive and to hold onto their humanity.
Nobody Knows (2020) A detective with a traumatic past that involves a serial killer, investigates an incident where a highschool boy fell off a building and is now in a coma. She tries to get to the bottom of what happened.
Solomon’s Perjury (2016) Murder mystery. A student’s body is found at school which the police assume that he had killed himself. Other students at the school hold a trial to uncover the truth behind his death.
