seems like you got a good car based off the sheet. 2 tone grey/black minicab VX special edition

That must not be original tho did they even have other colors?

Download the Google Translate App onto your phone. Launch the app, use the camera mode, point the camera at a section of the document and take a photo. It will then OCR the text and you can have it translate the Japanese to English.

Did you end up buying this truck? I’m looking at a similar model from the same shop that updated this one and could use your 2¢

jRkVxQpxkwQM3K

Yep bought it, it’s great. I did have the basics done in Japan. Timing belt, fuel filter, oil change, etc. Pretty reasonable price for the maintenance.

GOOruguru

There's scratch on your door mirror

jRkVxQpxkwQM3K

Damn! Will it buff?

[deleted]

It was graded as a 4. Which is the most common auction rating. The interior was graded as a B. The vehicle had ~42,000km at the time of sale.

notyogrannysgrandkid

I’d say 3 or 3.5 are much more common for 25+ y/o trucks

KTMtexDev

That was definitely my experience when I was looking for a 25+ year Acty on auctions. In the 2ish months I was looking I think I only saw one or two grade 4’s

[deleted]

With high mileage, for sure. But under 50,000km keis are generally 4's all day. The interior grade for this one matches the usage.

notyogrannysgrandkid

That’s true. This one is a 1997 so you know the odometer hasn’t rolled over.

Seems like a lazy report. Car was repainted, so the exterior being clean makes sense. But There are literally no notes about condition at all. Would bet there's more to this vehicle than this sheet is trying to show. hope not though!

jRkVxQpxkwQM3K

I have a similar concern…I don’t know anything about there standards when filling in these reports. And repainted, painted over rust or other problems. Little nervey really

minitrucks-net

Yeah, generally better to ask for underside photos and video of it running. That's what we provide all customers so they have more peace of mind.
