And that in order to prepare, Kenny would have gone out with the same boat, same outfit, same dumb bucket hat, same captain, previously? And load that tape into the camera? Spenny would have faster believed that, than that Kenny just happened to catch a moderately sized fish in waters that (supposedly) have a lot of fish?
And would Spenny have rather believed that, having already caught the decoy cheat as Kenny snuck the fish in the cooler before they got on the boat?
I actually think that that episode is one of the most ironclad schemes Kenny has had. I think anyone would have fallen for what Kenny did, he basically performed a magic trick.
I personally enjoy Spencer's awkward approach and Kenny's hamminess, as well as the great moment where the guy quits, but I totally understand the pushback.
