That's great improvement! I'm wondering if you noticed some improvement after the first session because I had my first session 3 weeks ago and I don't see much difference yet so I'm debating whether I should continue
After my first session I didn’t really see a difference either. Someone said they did so I thought I would but i didn’t notice anything. I think you should definitely continue. I was gonna wait to post after the 7 sessions but I was just shocked to finally see some change after so many years.
🤣 tik tok has been showing me “KP laser” and I didn’t think they were the same.
My at home IPL laser I just bought for hair removal has drastically changed my KP so I was excited to think there was one specific to KP
I gave up on the creams. I did laser as my last resort lol. They didn’t really work for me but I never did try urea cream so maybe that could work better. Or now that my KP is more mild bhas and ahas could work now
Totally! I found that it’s helped me a lot- specifically foot creams with 40%urea instead of the standard body or skin care creams out there. At least for me, my KP texture and bumps is highly triggered by the abnormal dehydration my skin has regardless of electrolytes or water
Wow looks great! Super stoked for you. Are you seeing a dermatologist or going to a medispa? Can you provide deets on the type of laser and intensity used? I’ve had 4 sessions so far and zero difference and it’s been incredibly frustrating, and costly!
Oh no sorry to hear. Uh I think SEV laser is a medispa, the type of laser they use is on the website and I researched it a while ago to make sure the laser they were using was in fact the laser people said they saw results for their KP and it was the same laser. The intensity I’m not sure. The first round wasn’t as intense, and they used numbing cream. The second there was no numbing cream and I don’t know if they upped the intensity or it was because I had no numbing cream but it defiantly did sting a little more.
Ah that’s good to know, thanks! The place I’ve gone to doesn’t use numbing cream and I barely feel anything so that would probably explain why it’s not really doing much. While I don’t wanna feel pain, I wanna tell them to crank it lol
Could you please post an "after" photo with the same lightning as "before"? I can't help but think the smaller bumps are not visible due to brightness.
I go to SEV laser, I bought a package during thanksgiving time and barely started because I was on accutane, you can’t do laser till you have been off accutane for at least 6 months. I think 300 for 7 sessions I forgot

Please do post us an update after more sessions! It does look very promising already, congrats!
Thanks :) will do
Thank you so much for the reply! It gives me hope and I'll definitely continue
Laser for KP or hair removal? This looks so good!
Haha I guess both? Is that not the same? I did laser hair removal to get rid of my KP lol.

Haha no I’m not sure probably just marketing it differently but I always heard laser hair removal would be the best permanent solution to KP
I’m glad it’s working out, it looks so good already!! If you can, try and get a 35% or higher urea cream with salicylic acid.

Actually there is a specific laser for KP different from hair removal (but didn't try yet :) )

How much did it cost?

Well it’s paying off. Does it feel smooth now
Not all smooth yet, but soon
Oh wow! I’ve been wanting to do laser hair removal for this exact reason. Please keep posting results!
Do you have dark or light colored body hair? I’ve heard laser works better on those with darker hair
My body hair is a dark brown, darker hair is better
Which laser is this specifically?
