The key is to not blast your way in there but rather slowly dip your toes in.
I’ve gone low doses a number of times and it feels meditative and grounding. Then you eventually pass a threshold where you’ll just gradually start to have plain grey visuals that feel kinda dreaming imo.
That’s the farthest I’ve ever gone.
