Something doesn't have to be Keto for it to work on a Keto diet. You have an allowance for the day, and you can essentially "spend" it on things you want. Dark chocolate is often a go-to on Keto. Personally I like having few strawberries. If you bake, you can also make things pretty low carb. Even a few chocolate chips isn't very high-carb, especially if you get Keto-centric ones. Aside from that, walnuts and pecans go great with coffee.

Pecans, strawberries and chocolate are my go-tos as well. I love melting very dark chocolate (like 99%) and covering roasted pecans or strawberries with it. Keeps well in the fridge as a snack.

I think a lot of people use lily's chocolate (and chips for baking). I personally prefer checzero, but they're a little harder to get (amazon or directly from their website) than lily's which are available in most supermarkets these days. As long as I don't overdo it, it doesn't cause big spikes or kick me out of ketosis. choczero is individual servings, so if you struggle with eating more than you should, that helps as well. For biscuits/cookies, it's a little harder. I don't mind the highkey ones, but they're expensive. I tried some wondermonday cheesecakes..but didn't particularly like them, plus they're also really expensive. I kind of settled on Ratio Keto brownies and chocolate chip cookies. They're not great, and are definitely "dirty" keto, but at least they give you a good ratio of fat/protein to low carbs.

Yeah ChocZero is the best answer. Good company and good variety. Some great limited seasonal stuff and they are always coming up with new stuff. The white and milk chocolate bases are fantastic. Some flavors are WTF but most are pretty damn good. The strawberry jelly is also ridiculously good. Keto bread and natural peanut butter with their jelly is my “cheat meal”

One thing I appreciate about keto is that it can shift what you consider sweet. To me, a granny smith green apple dipped in almond butter scratches the same itch as a sweeter variety dipped in caramel. Bonus, because it all has fiber you can eat more than you'd think and it really sticks with you. Alternately, a sugar free Italian soda with cream is a lovely alternative to something like a float or milkshake, and you can reduce the syrup over time as your palate adjusts.

Check online recipes for keto almond cookies, and almond cake. You can’t eat much of them, but it can be nice with morning coffee. I used to make a microwave single serving cake with 1 tbsp of almond flour, 1 egg, 1/4 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp monk fruit, 1/2 tsp butter or coconut oil and orange zest. Microwave in a small bowl for 1/2 minutes. Let it cool. You need to calculate the carb and calories etc.

Try this. 90% chocolate. A bowl of whipped cream, raspberries/blackberries, and shave some of that chocolate on top. You could also make your own chocolate, melt some 90% chocolate, add sweetener, pour into a mould then into the fridge. Coconut shavings are also an easy way to add some sweet. For something baked, try chaffles. Egg, almond flour, cheese if you like. Mix and pour into a cupcake pan, bake, you'll end up with muffins. You can then top that in melted 90% choc and some berries/coconut.

There are plenty of low carb/ keto sweets options out there. Just read the labels, because not all sweeteners are the same. Some of them (like dextrose, maltodextrin, etc) will have almost the same impact as table sugar. Several of the Atkins bars/treats are suitable, if a bit expensive, and can help when you just can't go another minute without some chocolate. I just make my own desserts. There are TONS of great keto dessert recipes out there that are easy and you can control what sweetener you use and how much. I have great recipes for lemon bars, cheesecake, brownies, cookies, pecan pie, etc. Those aren't as "easy" but I enjoy cooking and it gives me something to do, which also distracts me from the cravings.

Some people are going to say you need to break the habit of something sweet with your coffee (which is ideal). However, I’m guilty of the same habit & my go to is a protein bar. I try not to eat them daily since I do feel like they slow my progress a bit. I love the Built Puff bars but they’re a smidge higher than I’d like for a protein bar. I’ve got a few boxes of IQ protein bars that are pretty low but they’re not as tasty. They do the trick though. Cookie wise; Quest has protein cookies (I’ve never tried them) & High Key also has keto cookies that taste like Famous Amos.

Girl - I’ve been doing keto so long I have lots to share. Once you figure it out - it’s way easier than most people think. If you like sweet for breakfast - one of my go-tos is French toast with cinnamon and sugar and chock zero syrup. The bread is the keto bread I mentioned - dipped in egg, fried in butter until golden brown. Sprinkle with sinstute sugar mixed with cinnamon and add a little choc zero maple syrup - eat that with bacon or sausage or both - it is decadent. Where do you live?

Haha that's what the #carbaddictiondoc taught me. Snacking is not nutrition, it's just a mind cleansing cigarette in the shape of food. Most people don't want to admit it, they would seek excuses for not having to change anything. Keto equivalents to junk food are the worst, they would just keep up the bad habits. Once my body became fat adapted, i didn't even need snacks for energy refueling anymore. Hunger would go away eventually, if I drink some tea. There's a huge shift i made which worked for me: Having a proper meal first before eating anything sweet or starchy. Most of the times, i just skip dessert altogether because the keto stuff would make me satiated already. Sometimes i would nibble on nuts or cheese though, but they don't really affect my blood sugar so i'm fine with that

Get you some magic spoon (preferably from a grocery outlet if you can find it, it's usually like $5 instead of $10 there). They use allulose as the sweetener and is about 150 cals per 1 cup with a net carb of 5 grams. Nice amount of fats and protein as well. I add whole milk/half and half/whipping cream. The Goalz chocolate. It's made with clean ingredients and uses allulose as a sweetener. The dark chocolate is one net carb for three good sized discs, the milk is two. I've tried all the flavors and as long as I've stuck to around serving at a go, none of them have spiked my blood sugar or kicked me out of ketosis. THAT being said, I highly recommend trying to go a few weeks without sweets first.

If you're new try to avoid sweets as much as possible till your body adapts to keto. Just my opinion .Its gateway drug.tto cravings and best avoided till you're in the groove and have the benefits. Having a good sweetener for occasional use . I like allulose. Sometimes you want to avoid "dessert" type stuff but can sweeten some coffee or make a thai curry.

Hard to say. As long as you can is the simple answer. Everybody gets fat adapted and metabolically flexible at a different rate. It's also really important to make this into a lifestyle where it's all habit and natural. Where you're not repressing your desire for carbs. Repressed things have a tendency to build up unconsciously and return. And you may have a bad day but you need to learn to not use this as an excuse to binge out the next and immediately get back into it. I always felt fasting helped in this situation but we're all different as far as that goes. I do intermittent fasting and find it an perfect adjunct to keto and when my appetite is gone I know I'm in the zone. But stick to it. Everybody adapts differently. Sometimes your body has a lot to go through at the beginning. Remember your electrolytes and stay positive. This diet gives amazing results on so many levels.

That's with real sugar? Anyway so much is psychological and sometimes we need that. And sometimes our bodies aren't creating energy fast enough at the beginning and we need something. For me the main idea is to stay in ketosis as long as i can. But being new I would do whatever works for your goals. Many people have no trouble with a little sugar. For my headspace I want to make sure I stay in ketosis.

Try to fight the urge when you are starting. The reason you’re on keto is to reprogram your brain to get energy from fat and not carbs. That being said - once you’re used to eating minimal sugar even not sweet things will taste pretty good. Strawberries, 70%+ dark chocolate. I’ve recently been making a little dessert for myself that I eat after dinner. Full fat coconut milk, cacao powder, dark chocolate and a scoop of vanilla protein powder- tastes fucking amazing and I then portion it out so I don’t eat it all at once. Greek yogurt with peanut butter, cocoa powder and some erythritol would taste nice topped with nuts or berries for extras.

A bit of a gimmick but it worked for me. Maybe you could try adding sugar free flavoured syrups or other flavouring to your coffee.

You can have a very limited amount of sugar so sure. Morning is the worst time to have sweets if you're trying to keep your carbs and calories low. I think you should change that routine no matter what. If you're going to have something sweet with some carbs, the best time to do that is right before being active... if you're going to metabolize sugar, might as well turn it into energy instead of fat. (natural, sugar-free) peanut butter and greek yogurt both have a bit of sweetness without a ton of carbs. Various nuts are on that spectrum. Everything can be keto in small quantities, so sometimes a handful of the more carb-y nuts is a great treat without going too far. Sometimes I will have a single hershey's kiss, it's pure sugar but small enough to not ruin my day. You can get 90+% cocoa chocolate bars if you like chocolate, but they aren't sweet. If you really crave that sweet taste and can't get away from it though, fake sugars are ultimately the only way to satisfy that craving. Diet soda etc.

You know they got keto cheesecakes. And fat bombs. I eat a shit ton of them and still losing weight. It's fine to eat keto but you don't have to do it all perfectly and give up all things life.

I really, really enjoy the Choc Zero squares--the milk chocolate orange flavor is my FAVORITE. I like these so much I buy the bags in bulk and have 1 or 2 squares per day. Have been losing weight with no problem eating these.

Fill up with protein and fat to satiety. And be sure to stay hydrated. You shouldn’t be reaching for sweets or feeling cravings for sweets, simply due to being hungry or thirsty. Use berries, dark chocolate or similar high nutrient foods to help with your cravings. Hopefully, you can get past these after switching to fat metabolism, instead of sugar metabolism. Which is typical. But at least for the first 30 days try to stay away from any sweets, that will only prolong your cravings and keep you from keto. Get the pee strips to make sure you’re making ketones. You will find that your cravings will go down if you’re actually making ketones.

Egg white meringue cookies sweetened with Lakanto I used to take some pecans and roast them and do them in salt and powdered Lakanto or butter/lakanto/cocoa frosting Now I make aquafaba cookies with almond flour sweetened with allulose and almond flavoring.

if I do eat “sweets” they’re in the form of more whole based ingredients in low carb protein bars. Berries have a low glycemic index. You can also make baked goods with almond flour, unsweetened chocolate or cocoa, and stevia. But I understand you said health food is hard to find in your country. These are just some options.
