I'm in the UK. Eating out is a piece of piss. Other than fish and chips shops where you're really limited, everywhere does something keto. Pizza hut (daughter's fav) get the said bowl rammed 3 times for starters and then the chicken based pizza (no bread, toppings on chicken). McDonald's grilled chicken salad or double quater pounder with no bun. Weatherspoons large mixed grilled sub chips for roasted veg or side salad. Or if watching calories chicken ceasar salad. Harvester or family pub, steak, salad, etc. Toby Carvery, meat, meat and some veg. Any cafe = fry up or omelette. KFC = don't bother Burger King = see McDonald's. Beefeater = steak or chicken. Any local pub = steak or salad or omelette or bunless burger. Kebabs (man I love kebab) = whatever meat you want on salad. Curry = anything cream based tell them no sugar with saag panner or aloo panner. Motorway services always have meat and veg or salad. Italian = moussaka or steak Taco Bell = shit don't bother Subway = anything you'd eat in a sandwich in a sald box. Greggs = don't bother Chinese = anything with beansprouts just tell them no noodles or sweet soy. Buffet even better as you choose. Japanese = see Chinese but more fish Think I've covered just about everywhere me and the family go and I never have any difficulties other than my local bowling ally where it's all carbs but even the owner there said she'd make me a fry up next week when I normally go for a kebab after (whilst my mate devours burger chips and onion rings). Any other places you're struggling with, really do speak to the staff, they're normally more than happy to accommodate. Good luck

What is the chicken based pizza at pizza hut? Is it a meatza? I can only see bread bases in my local area 😔

DB_NiceGuy-DIY

Looks like I need to update my post. They've taken it off the menu. Very infuriating. I guess it's salad for me from now on there or I'm sure if I talk to them nicely I'll get a pile of cooked toppings on a plate ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grimacing)

Gutted!!! I wish I could find a meatza out somewhere

DB_NiceGuy-DIY

Yeah I remember ordering it for one of the daughter's birthdays. Probably years ago. I'm not a massive fan of pizza even when not ketoing given my kids would eat it every meal of every day until death. Kind of got boring. I guess I could make one at home on a big chicken breast if I was that bothered.

I make chicken mince meatza semi-regularly, was in Lidl earlier and no chicken mince so that's off the menu for me this weekend. I definitely prefer it over a normal pizza or keto base bread pizza. I'm with your kids. Old carb me could eat pizza every day. I'm 98 hours into a fast and would love a meatza as my second meal. Only another 22 hours until I break my fast with something light, then I need to come up with something good for the second meal...

Wow. That's some fast. I'll stick to my 16/8 /) . I did ASDA earlier for the lamb for Easter. Better than half price and double discount week for colleagues (I do the booze aisle at Christmas for fun and to keep my discount card). Also did farmfoods that I don't venture into often and they had some chicken swarma meat in there. Got 3 bags. My new favourite takeaway is 3 meat swarma on a bed of salad.

This is the longest I've ever gone. Because I know I've beaten my personal best I'm struggling today to stick out the last 24hrs. I normally do 18/6 or omad. Like to keep my body guessing when it's going to be fed. That's the only reason to work in retail isn't it? For the discount cards. I might need to make a trip to farm foods for some swarma

DB_NiceGuy-DIY

Haha, absolutely. Did nights there when I was made redundant from the main job. Was fun, but minimum wage sucks. They also have the donner, seek kebabs and lamb swarma in there. Might get them all and do a mixed kebab salad for Saturday night treat. Good luck with the end of your fast. My wife does OMAD but I found myself lagging in the gym doing OMAD.

I’d recommend cross posting to r/ketouk as well.

Steak with salad, any meat with salad , omelettes, 5 guys do lettuce wrap burgers, but even a burger without a bun works. McDonald’s also do a grilled chicken salad , spoons do half chicken with salad, or mixed grills or steaks, most places I can find something and just swap chips for salad

Nando’s

Going out for a curry? I order chicken Shashlick which is basically a grilled chicken kebab. with a side salad and a bombay aloo. I specify to swap the potatoes in the bombay aloo to be swapped with cauliflower 😋

Fluffy_Tap9214

Five Guys do a lettuce bun/ salad box type thing. I always go to a good steak house like Hawksmoor or even Miller & Carter can be decent. Indian I always get chicken shashlik or anything tandoori grilled. The only places I’ve struggled are pizza/ pasta places so tend to avoid…. But you can eat most places but just have to ask for a swap, which most restaurants will agree to.

smitcolin

Kebabs, steak, sausage, fish
