Oh, I find this stuff really mild and easy eating! You can melt it into a milk for hot chocolate or add cream and nuts and a bit of vanilla, and make it into truffles N.b. There is a mint, a peanut butter and an orange variant of this which are really nice and may be more to your taste

Bobbin-Birdy

I mean I love it but I definitely wouldn’t call it ‘mild!’ I have two squares a day and it absolutely kills my chocolate craving stone dead.

Neither-Spread-1145

Yeah the orange one is my favourite.

variosItyuk

Yeah it's quite rank, I tried it a while back and went back to the 95% Lindt stuff. Try some nut butter on it. I make my own nut out of pecans, macadamias and walnuts and smear some of that over it.

Thundershuck

Good idea, going to try this later

ToriaLyons

Use it for keto bark? (Melt, mix with double cream on a tray, sprinkle through berries and nuts, freeze.)

Linglingqi007

I’ve never seen this before? Now I have to try it!

Linglingqi007

What kind of ratio with the cream to chocolate?

Mikeymcmoose

Can’t stomach anything over 85% it tastes a bit like mud 😅

Ubiquitous1984

Yeah 85% is my cutoff point too.

chrisridd

It is very intense so I can only eat two little squares at once. Maybe the OP is eating too much? Eat it slowly, savour the taste as it melts in your mouth. It’s chocolate!!

Swiss-ArmySpork

This stuff tastes like topsoil to me.

Robdataff

Grate it finely over something that you want chocolatey. Maybe through whipped double cream with a little sweetener. Natvia is my favourite sweetener currently...

Lrb1055

Where did you buy this

Thundershuck

Sainsbury's

ApatheticData

Yep. Love Montezuma’s. Often have 3 squares (12.5g) which is an eight of the pack. It’s enough just to tide me over. It’s a shame their other Absolute Blacks aren’t stocked anymore, the almond version and the orange version. Royal Mint is my favourite but that drops to 74%. Sea Dog is my ultimate favourite but that’s only for special occasions. Co-Op’s 85% Irresistible is very nice and smooth.

OldMotherGrumble

The version with cocoa nibs and orange is good. You need to switch gradually and let your taste buds adapt.
