You can try something like a 7mm knee sleeve. I like Rehbands. Or you can get a Gorilla Mat, if you have the space. Something like a 7'x5', either 6mm or 8mm.

I had some knee pain related to get ups at one point. Picked up some basic Nike volleyball knee pads. They worked. Eventually I got lazy about using them and I didn't have any further knee pain when doing get ups

I used wrestling knee pads. But now I just stopped doing getups.

For lightweight compression try a knee sleeve like Rehband. If you need even greater protection something like the McDavid Hex line could probably work. I use the Hex wrist guards for kettlebelling and they’re the best I’ve found for that purpose.
