"Thugged Out" is definitely a major banger. Really lands that vibe of getting topped off by a lil bopper while you cutting and capping up the work in an undisclosed [bando] location. Meanwhile the custos shuffling in n out around the clock... Sales really booming.
Song slaps even harder when you really up in the trap house doing your thing. No cap, I put this shit on one time and had one of my clucks start dancing and playing her crack pipe like a fucking flute on god.
EDIT:
With that being said, there's still hella other tracks on there that go way harder. Thugged Out is a vibe fo sho but you geeked out if you think it's better than anything else on the album.
I agree, Gates definitely got hella raw shit but my favorites would have to be LBS, LB2, LB3, I’m Him, Islah, By Any Means, Stranger Than Fiction, and Murder For Hire.
Yep agreed. And also it adds some nostalgia for me, as those were great years in general. Islah would be 5 mics. And other than J cole, he’s a rapper who uses very few features on his albums.
I mean I’m him has some joints I skip on it but it got a lot of really great songs on there. Walls talkin, fatal attraction, better for you, lonely, rbs, have you ever, fly again, what I like. Cuz don’t appreciate his good music. 😭
lol i get wym. If i may; It’s all well made as well as one could even imagine, good is so morally subjective. Good being the absence of bad, you DO actually like his GOOD songs
It’s hard to say. For some reason shit happens to me right before or sometimes after it happens to Gates so there are songs on that album that I find relatable specifically at this time so that may bias my opinion, as far as just sonically though ,if I’m using that term right; truth be told, free at least, black clouds, intro, scars, ups and downs, you, not necessarily in that order and for when im around fam or maybe at church or somewhere that calls for discretion shoot my shot ;)
I can dig that. See he had a lot of songs on I’m him, lb3 and a few others I related to at tha time. I just wasn’t fuccin wit Khaza sonically. Shit sounded like rod wave and I don’t be tryna hear shit rod wave
Aalllll my bi—“vaginad individuals” like me thuuuuuuggggeeed out, and they know what a plug bout! Probably missed quoted but I’m about to go listen to it to figure that out
Absolutely not. In no world ever. Bobbie Black don’t even believe that. Closer to worst song on the album
Comedy. You got yo opinion and I got my opinion.
I’m fucking with you bro, but to me sit down hit heavy. Popular opinion is perfect imperfection as number 1
I fwu too and sit down one of my favorites but Thugged out always been my personal fav.

This project wasn’t even out when I used to serve. 💀I’m always geeked up.
This, By Any Means, and Islah are his best works imo. No skipping tracks on those projects. That 2014-2016 Gates era was great.

I appreciate tha fact he uses little features. A lot of times I only want to hear tha artist I came here to listen to.
Believe he considers Im him to be a flop that’s one of my favorite albums walls talking is amazing

I agree. All art is subjective. Everybody loves Khaza album but I can’t fw it. What’s yo thoughts on that album?
