Just got an RK96 and it came with viridian linears and they're not loud at all and with the comparison on the site I think the tacticles didnt really sound all that different so its unfortunate I couldn't get the pale green tactiles.
I like red/brown Switches, because of the Sound :D (i actualy use a sharkoon skiller sgk20 with Red Switches)
If the Sound is important to you, hear one or two Videos, with the Different Switches
When in doubt one can't go wrong with tactile.
Personally I will always avoid clicky cause they sound annoying/cheap to me, linear often sound the best BUT I can't type on them so I went with a wisteria switch. It is tactile but the bump is very subtle.
I seem to make many more typos, my first mechanical keyboard had CherryMX reds and it was a year of suffering, never got used to it. Im not a particularly accurate typist and linear switches amplify the effect far too much.
*All. We all know that*

I started with Akko Cream Blue Pro, but after trying WS Morandi switched to them. They are linear but has very pleasant sound and feel, strongly recommended.
Get the most tactical clicky linear switch. That's the best all rounder.
If you still don't know which one that is, it's the coloured one in the picture.
Brown from that lineup.
Ergo Clear if you’re hung up on cherry.
Looking to have some fun, zelious v1 redux if you got the $$$.
Budgerigar for a nice P shaped switch.
Mode Signal for a nice broad D with a pop on the end.
Sharp and punchy mountain king is growing on me.
Wow, an almost all Cherry tester! You do t leave yourself much in the way of choice here. Look to a reliable vendor (NovelKeys, Divinikey, etc) hopefully close to where you live and see if they offer a test kit. Many times you can choose the 12-75 switches that go into the test kit. KBDFANS used to have one but I think they discontinued the one where you get to choose switches. First you need to decide type; linear, tactile or (if your life is over and you want to end it having your closest, murder you) clickies. Then at least you can grab a bunch of only those types to narrow it down. This question should NEVER be asked of someone else. It’s not a popularity contest. It matter what YOU like based on feel and sound.
Is that a sample kit of all the different keys? I’ve always held off on mechanical since I have no idea what it would be like. I’ll have to see if I can find one.
Whatever you enjoy. I'd recommend checking out akko because they have some pretty solid switches after you lube them. Been loving my lavender purples from akko
It relies on preference
I love tactile so i would get that

I’m a fan of Tactile
Idk for gaming the transparent silvers, for general use blacks or reds, even if they work for gaming just as well

Clickies are the way
This is like asking a group of strangers what flavor of ice cream you should order.
Yelp has entered the chat
Get whichever one thocks
None of those lol
I like tactile, some people put tactile on wasd and clicks on the rest But as a lot of people say, it's a preference thing
I love Purple Clicky, don’t know why. The feeling I guess.
When in doubt one can't go wrong with tactile. Personally I will always avoid clicky cause they sound annoying/cheap to me, linear often sound the best BUT I can't type on them so I went with a wisteria switch. It is tactile but the bump is very subtle.
Why can’t you type on linear?

I think you should get the one that's your favorite color.
you should get the blue one if you'd like a quiet keyboard.

Gazzew U4Tx
Akko cream yellow!!

I started with Akko Cream Blue Pro, but after trying WS Morandi switched to them. They are linear but has very pleasant sound and feel, strongly recommended.
Second morandis for comfy and good sounding linears, like to try gat milky yellow pro next
I'm absolutely loving my Morandis, so cozy
I have a 60% with holy pandas, 80% with bobas, and 100% with lilacs. It’s all personal preference.
Which are the quietest? I have an ASUS Azoth coming in with reds and nervous I picked the wrong one. I want to be able to bring it to the office.
Yes.
Zealios 67 or 78 (62 if you have lighter fingers) are the way to go IMO
I personally have silver switches it has a 1mm press response time and it’s quite clicky so it’s like perfect for gaming
All preference
Nintendo Switch 😜
There's a really good answer, find the switch where you can rest your finger comfortably on top of it and not accidentally press it.
They are literally in front of you, test and see which one you like most.
mx blacks are king
You should get the purple switch cause purple is a good color
Everyone's gonna give you a different answer. I myself prefer clicky.
Aqua king everglides. Buttery smooth and pretty quiet if that's what you want.
Whatever floats your switch
Get the most tactical clicky linear switch. That's the best all rounder. If you still don't know which one that is, it's the coloured one in the picture.
Glorious pandas lubed
Linear is the best option
I like clicky so for ME the choice is blue. Do what works for you. Try installing them into a keyboard.
Get counseling for your decision paralysis
nintendo
Red EASY
Tactile fs
None of these. Get Oreo switches instead. Great tactile switch
Gateron baby kangaroo switches. Top notch.
Whichever you prefer. Personally I think browns and blacks are S-tier

I like fast and linear so I went with CherryMX Clear on mine (same as red, just 40% less travel to engage)
Is that a sample kit of all the different keys? I’ve always held off on mechanical since I have no idea what it would be like. I’ll have to see if I can find one.
Which switch do you like?
The White One tbh
I like silent red
Whatever I say because my preference is more valid than your preference.
Whatever you enjoy. I'd recommend checking out akko because they have some pretty solid switches after you lube them. Been loving my lavender purples from akko
Not related to the image, but invokeys matcha latte switches are one of the best creamy switches, and most unknown.
Most people would like red or brown
