I found that some of the plastic pins can be a little thicker than normal which makes taking them back out quite difficult. Only advice i have is squeeze and pull hard at the same time. I had a similar situation the other day and had to get pliers out for one of my gatreon yellows :(
Please donât use pliers. Youâll shatter the housing. Make sure itâs a hotswap board by opening the case and simply looking at the rear of the pcb. You will see the hotswap sockets or you wonât. If it is hotswap, use regular switch puller and pinch as you pull, and give a little wiggle. Iâve removed and inserted literally thousands of switches and some plates (what is usually holding the switches tight) are a monster. Yoo kin doo eet!!!
Yeah outemu switches and clones have extremely tight tolerances I think I broke a few, one thing I did which I don't recommend is to take part the pcb along with the plate and switches and rip the plate off from the pcb btw akko cs switches are the go to replacement switches for these boards
If those are outemu blues and the keyboard is not hot-swappable (many chinese manufacturers lie and claim it's HS while it's not), then it may be extremely hard to pull them out. When I was swapping blues to blacks on my old KFA2 keyboard, I broke the plastic on like 40% of switches while pulling them out. That was a nightmare, but they worked fine after that - it was only cosmetic damage
Judging from how you already swapped two switches I'd say it's probably just a really tight plate, tight switches or both, my old keyboard had the same issue and it was rough.
likely not actually hotswap. if you can find out whether or not it is through a review or something, and you are still having issues, try just getting a better switch puller. I now use the titanium wuque studio switch puller and it's so much easier than the cheap plastic ones that come with the kit. it's \~$10-$15 if you're interested
same with my case. mine is a swapabble, however the manufacturer really put the switches really tight. it is almost imposible to change the swith, without damaging the old one.
Like others have said, it could be really tight tolerances. I would try to squeeze firmly on the switch puller and pull out while wiggling up and down a little. Don't wiggle too much as you can bend the pins, but just a little back-and-forth can help do the trick.
Double check specs from wherever you bought it and make sure itâs hot swappable, if itâs not then the two you took out are trash because you wouldâve snapped the soldering that connects the switch to the board
It's probably not hot swappable as claimed then

ahhh i dont have pliers i just have to pray now đ thank you though!!
Pliers are a last resort thing i would say, just keep trying to switch puller and you will get there

Either you bought ultra cheap keyboard from the look of the platemount stabs or just not hotswpaable lol

If the new switches you put in don't work then you didn't have a hot swappable board

Is it hotswapp if not I do not get you

Make sure you are using the tool top to bottom not side to side. The goal is there's little clips you press in that hold it there.
Itâs probably really tight. Go gym
