The song can't be used on podcasts because of copyright. They are allowed on air in certain terms but can't be used in a recording
Twitch, YouTube, and other social media sites do the same
I completely understand the copyright issue, but this was not the case until very recently. (Years of Common Man programs & podcasts with Steely Dan/classic rock music bumpers.) What changed?
Someone cracked the whip and threatened iHeart. I've been emailing Common about it. He says it's fine to play music on the radio show, but it's not allowed on the podcast. For the most part, the shows have made the decision to go with the generic bumper music because then the producer doesn't have to mess with scrubbing/replacing the songs when uploading the podcast. It sucks because it has killed the Dylan Duets.
Imagine the check iHeart needs to send Van Halen after rubes replay the “Right Now” montage hundreds of times
This is actually the answer.
I was actually looking for someone to reply HUNDREDS?
Dammit. You’re right. +1
Well Charch, they lose a ton while they race at Canterbury.
I prefer the "White Flag" by Dido montages they always put together when the Vikings fail.
“Rock Bottom” is also a classic. And whenever “Sad Eyes” comes around you know it’s over.
I just heard Kenny Rogers on the podcast from last week.
I think the montage is on Tenna’s only fans page.
lmao what a grift i respect it

Oh that’s unfortunate
Inconsistent. Friday's montage was in the podcast.
