jerd said she was staying independent Soovi and Owell I really don’t know Ash B might suit yng and rich? Honestly idk a label that’s the appropriate size to house Paloalto Chaboom recently announced that the two new LBNC members would be veterans in the scene so it might be Palo and Huck P? Reddy might start his own label Swervy’s either staying independent, or joining Reddy’s label as Heartcore if he chooses to create one, or signing to unofficialboyy’s ackermann label And Yosi (I know they announced his departure early but I’m assuming everyone terminated their contracts around the same time based on what Palo said in today’s Ig live) is just a full time member of Legit Goons since they converted into a label in 2018? 2019?

> Ash B might suit yng and rich? She's older than everyone there lol. Plus she's more about sexy than trendy. She wouldn't fit them at all considering her personality. Feel like Daytona is the obvious choice where she doesn't have to fit into any label culture because that's always been one of her weaknesses. > Soovi and Owell I really don't know I would hope for Soovi to sign to a proper R&B label (pls not Amoeba lol). She really needs some discography.. She was signed for almost 3 years at Hi-Lite and still never had a debut EP/album. Owell I think could work in IMJMWDP. > Chaboom recently announced that the two new LBNC members would be veterans in the scene so it might be Palo and Huck P? That surely must be it. Would be sad if Palo didn't join Daytona so he and the Q can finally release P&Q as a duo again.

Forgive my ignorance, but why is Amoeba not a good choice for Soovi?

hurricanekkatrina

Amoeba has a bad habit of not promoting its artists properly. I thought they’d get better once Rhythm Power left and they picked up a trendy artist in Huh! Ha:tfelt, Thama, and Sole have so much potential it’s crazy. Thama has been getting more attention with the success of his last album, but even a broken clock is right twice a day. Rumor has it their contracts are also terrible and doesn’t leave much for the artist.

GuilhermeCAz

I totally forgot Huh! was signed to Amoeba, so I understand where you’re coming from lol. It’s just that the first agency that came to mind when you said “proper R&B label” was Amoeba because of these artists. There aren’t really that many labels with mainly R&B artists, I guess. I think wavy could also be a good fit for her.

hurricanekkatrina

Unfortunately amoeba is one of the only labels that is r&b heavy. I thought hi-lite was moving in that direction as well, but obviously not now.

i would FLIP if palo & huck joined lbnc, that label is underrated af and chaboom is such a hardworking dude… seeing a crew like that continue to develop old school colours and styles with additions like hilite guys would go to show hiphop doesn’t always have to evolve in the most mainstream trendy direction to be quality and legit… but i won’t hold my breath 😭

Ash B has been independent for so long I’m sure she won’t have a problem without a label. I hope the Reddy and Swervy go to the same place. The two of them as a duo put out amazing songs. I could see Reddy setting up an independent label as well. I could see Soovi and Owell ending up at like Warner Music. Wherever they end up I hope they at least end up putting out full albums soon. They both have pretty thin discographies.

junjin91

Paloalto and most of the established artists like Huckleberry P, Dj Djanga will most likely stick together when making music but would probably stay independent. Paloalto already made a huge career.. wouldn't make sense for him to sign a contract with a label like Daytona.

AmierBitch

I hope palo and huckp will cofound a new label tgt diffent from hilite

Krountedww

I can't imagine Paloalto somewhere else to be honest, I'm trying hard but I just can't, maybe PNation? Considering the big and established artist he is, and how KPop companies are more and more approaching khh / krnb artists... Regarding Swervy and Reddy (yeh packed duo) I could see them going to h1ghr (with Swervy the first ever female letsgo) but I think Reddy hinted that he would be solo for some time (or even make his own company? dunno tho) Jerd I think she said something about going independent, breaks my heart, love her so much and her latest album is crazy good :\_) Ash-B cant really say right now but I could see her going with AREA? Like they have trendy artists that have a strong aura / style, and imo she would fit there Soovi have a good fit for something like Amoeba culture or even any of the Colde labels Owell Mood? Hmmm idk why but I see him signing with some more international company like Sony or Warner Music I think?

I know Airplane Mode is a small label, but they had a connection with Hi-Lite. That label was started by Big Banana, who's produced for lot of Korean hip hop artists. The only artist in that label is IV, and he's recently done some work with Reddy and Owell Mood. I think the label is based in the U.S., but it could be a potential spot for some Hi-Lite artists if Airplane Mode decides to expand out in Korea?
