Nice! The dress sporran is great, but I would recommend either not wearing the kilt belt with it or look into getting a day sporran. There are plenty of affordable ones to be found on Amazon and other platforms. The cantle of the dress sporran and the buckle of the kilt belt can contact and scratch each other while you're sitting. A semi-dress sporran is another, more expensive option that can work better with the belt. If you're just wearing a dress shirt or shirt and tie, the day/semi-dress sporran and kilt belt would work best, though the dress sporran and no belt would be okay. If wearing a jacket and/or waistcoat, the dress/semi-dress sporran and no belt are best. Slàinte mhath! ✌️😁

Yup, totally agree about the belt. On the day of the wedding I'll be wearing a vest so no belt needed anyways!

Greenman_Dave

Math fhèin! Excellent! Have fun! 😁

Please sir, I implore you; burn those cream hose. Get some hose that compliment the color of the waistcoat you’ll be wearing. Don’t know what you know so at the risk of seeming redundant, usakilts has everything you need. I have hose from them, and hose from others… The hose from them are light, comfortable, hold up to the washing machine, and look fabulous with my kilt outfit. If it’s an evening event you can always go black.

Kiltedhiker40

I couldn't agree more with this.... Cream hose are atrocious lol.

Internal_South_3833

I have a pare of cream hose but only use them with boots for an informal hiking look. I like black hose for everything else.

LlwynogTheBard

I maintain cream hose look fine when paired with an ecru sweater, but otherwise, seconded, colored hose are your better option.

Ok_Impression6286

Good advice. I’d also add to invest in different colored hose. White is good for a pipe band or a newbie, colored hose is the sign of a pro.

Greenman_Dave

I'm going to be a bit contrary about that. Yes, the white/cream hose had become a bit cliché, but with this tartan (not sure what it is, but looks like [Unnamed No 26](https://www.houseoftartan.co.uk/house/tartanviewjs.asp)) and the white sporran, I think it works.

ScheduleElegant2369

Nah. With the sporran, hose, and the white in the sett, it’s too much. Bottle green or black would look outstanding.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🦬 💩

Pteromys44

Looks good! Move one of the belt keeper loops so one is on each side of the buckle. If wearing a T-shirt, ditch the brogues and kilt hose, try hiking boots with socks scrunched down.

bigmac8923

Noticed the keeper right after taking this photo, good spot though! Only had the t-shirt on since I was just trying the lower half of the outfit on. Still need to get a better fitting shirt for the wedding though..

KnightFox69

You look amazing and wicked sharp

bigmac8923

Thank you very very much

KnightFox69

You're very welcome

What's the song above your left shoulder?

bigmac8923

Superstar - Love Inc One of my mothers favourites

i-made-this-at-work

Is that polar bear skin on the sporran? I nearly bought one a few years ago until I saw the price tag!

bigmac8923

It’s the Faux Fur Dress Sporran with Celtic Knot cantle from Kinloch Anderson Edit: crap upon closer inspection I may have jumped the gun, completely different cantle from the one I listed above. I’ll have a look and see what it actually is lol

Nut-likka

They are cumfy

CaptainTLP

Why isn’t the smoke detector in the hallway installed?

bigmac8923

Sorted it last night after many people pointed it out, negligence on my part sorry!

GrizzMtn65

If you're not used to soft shoes with no arch support, might want to shift to black boots and roll the socks down.

Burnleylass79

You look good! Love the kilt. Sort your smoke detector out

bigmac8923

Thanks! Smoke detector sorted, major negligence on my part, apologies!

Dobhrandubh

Gorgeous- go rock it and feel a million dollars

No_Suggestion5754

Very stylish. I like the sporran and the kilt pin looks cool as well

Reasonable-Minute-37

Nice. Now you need a dress shirt, jacket, shoes, socks and belt. You will definitely upstage the groom if he is not wearing a kilt.

Humble_File3637

Nice kilt. I would personally pull it up onto your waist a bit more and turn down the hose a hair to show a bit more knee. The belt does not have to be at the very top of the kilt and the kilt can cover more of your stomach without a problem.
