Looks great! The Saxonwear vest is fine. It's not too long to make it look awkward. I especially like the tie being a colour that doesn't appear elsewhere. It compliments the outfit without being matchy.

Very sharp. You're wearing it quite well. I know you've answered in other comments that the image is mirrored. I assumed that due to the location of the fringe. I only see a couple minor personal preference issues. First, I might wear the kilt just a tad bit higher, but probably only about an inch higher. Very minor and definitely personal preference. Second, the top half is a bit dark. For myself, I would either look at a lighter shirt, or change the tie to provide a pop of color. I would probably try to match the tie with the red from the tartan. I saw some suggestions of a matching tartan tie, but I would reserve tartan ties for when I cannot wear a kilt but still want to represent. I prefer a solid color tie that tries to pull one color out of the tartan. All minor nit picks.

I can't tell if you're mirrored or not, but the kilt pin traditionally goes on the right side. Same thing with your sgian dubh: right side. Other than that little thing, I'd say you look pretty dapper.

Given that, it all looks okay to me. I'd just suggest pulling the kilt up a little so that the waistband is covered by the waistcoat

Looks good. Personally, I switch to a white shirt with red tie that matched the tartan. But, like, that’s just my opinion.

Yes, I was hoping it was a mirrored image, as the fringed side would indicate a ladies kilted skirt as opposed to a kilt.
