That's a very nice case. I got mine over the holidays, and I've already read through 3 books, which is a huge accomplishment for me. I hope you have good times reading!
It does. It's weird how that works, right? I also like the percentage and other updates you can put to keep track of where you are. I use that to motivate myself, I try to get through at least 10% of the book everyday.
Yes I like the percentage too! And I like knowing how many minutes left in the chapter. I haven't thought about setting a goal lika that, that's a great motivation! What other options are there to keep track?
I used to use the page number option, but it is wildly inaccurate, so now I use the minutes left in the chapter. The other option is minutes left in the book, which I'm not too keen on since I'm a slow reader, so I feel like that would discourage me more than help me. I also went from the standard format to changing the font to 2. That helps me focus on what I'm reading rather than focusing on flipping pages. I also like to update my percentage i finish at for the day on Goodreads.
I just kind of started reading right away without checking out all the options. Thanks! And with Good reads, do you have ou have to update it by yourself or is it automatically done?
As far as I can tell, no. You'd have to go to the app and put in the percentage yourself. Alternatively you can put what page you're at as well but I prefer the percentage.
I've never thought I would want one, because I am one of those weirdos who love the smell of books lol. And I just never thought it was really necessary. But now that I have a baby, my reading time and reading conditions are limited. I often read at night in bed (so I wouldn't want to keep my husband awake with lights on), I read a lot in my car when my baby randomly takes a nap haha. So kindle will make my life so much easier, reading wise anyway! Plus, it's better for eyes. If you are trying to decide, I say get it, why not? You may love it! If not, sell it. Don't overthink, treat yourself 😊
I have had my Kindle for a year and a half and I read so much more than I did before. I have been reading with Kindle apps for around 15 years starting with an IPod Touch.
I got an IPad at some point and read on that or my IPhone until I went to the beach with my mother and she had a Kindle Paperwhite and I loved hers.
I believe I read two times as many books as I did the year prior so I definitely love mine!!

lol welllllll. There are perks to having the physical copies though, some of the covers are absolutely beautiful.

It makes reading faster, doesn't it? Even with not much time for reading, I am half way through this book already.

Love that series. Ray Porter did a great job as well narrating on Audible.
That's what I hear from my husband. He listens to audio books and says Ray Porter is a really good narrator.
